I just found a small set of Triclub molds locally, and so I'm searching the forum for info on an old burt co mold, and I'm finding several threads with links to old eBay ads. Unfortunately the eBay links no longer works after a few months, so anything older than that you can't see any pictures or prices or anything.

It would be super helpful as a historical resource if people took the time to grab a quick screenshot or two of the pictures from the eBay ad when posting a link to a sale.

Example of a great "not mine ad" with plenty of info, but just missing a picture of the chips. Now when looking it up it's hard to tell what shape the chips where in, if they were all solids or spotted, what hotstamps and so on.

Thanks!

Maybe you could put some examples in the eBay thread, you know, give us some examples of the style and format you need. Like find some interesting things and post links and photos for them. Like the other people do.

Lol. If you are trying to say I don't post anything in that section, then you are simply wrong. Of course I could post more often, but that's not what this thread is about. I try to always include a picture in the threads I do post though. Like these:

https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/615-used-aztar-indiana-for-500-bin.16951/

https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/paulson-avalon-club.16688/

https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/lgs-solid-horsehead-set-langs-langworthy.66996/

To be clear, I appreciate all the deals and everything posted in the eBay/links section. Everything worth doing, is worth doing badly, so posting just a link is better than posting nothing. Just wanted to say that the threads would be even more valuable if they had some pictures in them. If you disagree or find its to much work, then please feel free to post your threads however way you'd like.

Until everyone gets on board with this I’d like to request that you go through every new post and post a picture in it from the listing so we don’t lose this valuable resource due to laziness. This would be greatly appreciated by everyone on the site - not just me - and you would be commended appropriately for doing the community such a service.
Thank you for your attention to this.

I’m just messing with you man, there’s just such a narrow window of what’s acceptable there anymore. If you post a good deal on good chips it’s bad, because some flippers lose out in profit margin or something so they start complaining. If you post good chips but the prices are not good then people complain because they are “bad deals” evidently your only supposed to post good deals on good chips - but see the sentence before this.
So you get stuck only posting ok chips at ok prices that nobody cares about anyway and now you want to add further restrictions to help people who don’t know what they want anyway - or they would be on eBay looking for it already.

I can see where you are coming from.

And I agree on some of your points. I won't post awesome deals here as I'd rather just buy them myself or if that's not posible send a PM to someone I know in the area. Posting an awesome deal (free money) will always result in plenty of people reaching out to the seller and there'll be backstabbing and the price will guaranteed go up for whoever ends up getting them (who will then flip them later on and people will be pissed)

Mostly I think this section is useful for cheap, vintage clay chips of different types. I.E. chips that don't really have much resaleabilty for flippers, but can still be a great deal for someone looking for specific molds and/or simply a cheap entry level clay set.

However it's not my intention to "add restrictions" as you put it with this thread. It was mostly meant as just a little heads up in case people are not aware and dont mind adding a photo.

Again feel free to post whatever you want.

Let’s see your tri clubs. Love the mold. For your reference, here is what the chips looked like in your linked reference.

This was from the eBay ad. There were over 6k chips originally.

This picture is not mine, but a better pic of the chips.

I have also added these arc yellow roulette chips to use as fracs if needed. And about 80 blue with a random hot stamp.

I’ve seen spotted tri clubs also. Someone has a nice semi custom set I’ve seen floating around.

Did you buy a set from that huge eBay lot back then @Littleluck55? Thanks for the pictures.

I haven't gotten the triclub chips yet, but they are in the mail on their way. Here's the picture from the ad. Will post more when I get them. They are spotted, so that's pretty cool, but looks like a pretty bad breakdown with many colors and denoms, but few of each.

I bought a set of the hot stamps. I worked a deal outside of eBay to get the set breakdown I was looking for. The initial matched my name and I have a ton of horse themed chips so it was perfect. I really like them.

I believe @Saoliver was working on a set of these awhile ago.
