ebay is getting to be a big rip off (3 Viewers)

So lately some auctions are set to be paid within 1 hour of ending. Not all auctions are like this, so maybe the seller makes that call, but it makes it harder to do combined shipping on multiple auctions. Some sellers are cool, but others claim they don't know how to fix the problem.

Also, if you make an offer now, and it is accepted it automatically charges your card and then ships it to you. It doesn’t let you ask which way you wanna pay or where you want it sent.

I did not like giving them my SSN and banking info, what happened to selling and getting paid with PayPal? Also the % they get is higher, 13% or so, was 10% if I recall correctly. Plus no transfer of funds until item is delivered is also annoying. It is all buyer protection, but makes it tough to use them.

eBay has always been shit. I got permanently banned from selling on there after I bought something from someone else, didnt look like they were going to come through with the shipment so I started the process with eBay to get a refund. Just so happened to get delivered that day after no communication, no tracking, nothing. eBay thought I was trying to scam the dude and they suspended my account....Wouldn't even let me explain what happened. Then I tried to sign up with my wifes info so I could keep selling at least and they instantly perma banned her account too. WTF

That is very bad news. The only way to justify buying cheap singles on eBay is to combine multiple auctions from the same seller, to save on shipping.
Good luck building a rack when you’re paying an extra $6 apiece.

I never have any payment methods automatically tied to eBay. If I make an offer, and it's accepted, then the seller send a message to pay within a certain period.

eBay’s prime seems to be long sensed past. It is essentially a marketplace for liquidators and cheap plastic commodities. Too expensive to sell anything without the volume discounts.
