Durable/Inexpensive Set Recommendation for a Newbie (1 Viewer)

Well to be honest

Durable + inexpensive = dice chips

Durable + inexpensive + good quality = whatever you can find
I do agree with this statement. The problem with dice chips is the lack of denomination... so it could be considered as eliminated in terms of actually being a poker chip... depending on your point of view. If it qualifies, then yes its probably the best choice when price and durability have the highest priority

Depends on how far you stretch the durability aspect -- those hard, heavy, sharp-edged dice chips are hell on wooden poker tables. I've even seen 'em dent tile and chip concrete when dropped.
