Can someone please link me to (or provide) a summary of how the Dunes chips were discovered. I can’t find the thread where this was discussed previously. I vaguely recalled they were buried (by who?) but don’t recall how they were discovered (casino implosion?).

I don’t have the thread, but they were buried by the Dunes casino as a way of destroying the chips, and then dug up when the Bellagio was being built on the site. Mike Spinetti got most of them I believe.
