I was asked by a member of this forum to re-post my casino chip pr0n back from 2009, when I ran a weekly chip pr0n at Chiptalk.net - perhaps some of you remember it. The pictures there are long gone, so I am happy to show them to you here.
This is it, this is my personal dream come true. A BCC custom set, accompanied by custom plaques made by Abbiati. For years, Abbiati sent me invitations to fairs, events and exhibitions of their products. They didn't believe a private person would pony up so much money just to get plaques for a home game, I guess.
Working with BCC was not really easy going, I have to admit. They had a production error on many of the inlays of the green chips. When I finally got the replacements, the green color of the chips was different from the earlier chips - As it so often happens with different production runs from BCC, unfortunately (have a look at my threads about the Samurai Palace & Protégé chips).
