Sometimes I can't quite find an existing pron thread for things that fits, so I figured, why not start my own.

Hosting a big 3-table tourney soon. Thus my first entry here will be the setup for that tourney which will feature my Dragons; specifically, the first use of the new T1000 and T5000.

Color-up chips (probably not the 500's. they're just there to fill the rack) :

New mat arrived.... just in time too given Saturday’s tourney might exceed my existing table capacity of 24.

I really like the look of this mat. I’d been thinking about it for a while and given I can’t get full sized pcf mats easily, this one won the job.

What are the colors on the 5000? Pink (DG?), Lt Chocolate, DG peach, Canary, Chocolate, Orange?

Was up and down for a good while, not really getting anywhere. This is L5 or 6.

Fortunately I hit a bunch of run-good, dragging several small pots. My stack slowly climbed to 35,000'ish. I then wake up with :qd::jd: on the button. 7-handed at the time and the blinds are 500/1000 (L9).

UTG calls; CO calls. I raise 3x. BB calls; UTG calls; CO folds. Pot: 10,500

The flop was awesome:

BB checks; UTG opens with 4000. I ponder for a bit (putting the UTG on at least an ace) and then raise to 8000.

BB folds. UTG raises all in. He has me covered by a few thousand. This had me in the tank for a bit, but with so many outs I had to call.

I won the race on the river:

A very healthy stack was the result:

Hand of the night. Sarah hits a royal flush to smash her opponent's AK:

This resulted after I had a :qc: high flush on the river. The :ac: was on the board. I called a medium stack's all-in and he ended up having a flush to the :kc:. Ouch.

Not much after that, we reached the bubble and I survived to get into the cash just barely. Top 5 got paid.

The November game had to become the January game; to be played this weekend. Will use the DWS chips above except as T2,000,000 instead of 3.

Had 13 players for yesterday’s tourney. T2,000,000.

I had a nice stack after a few early pots:

...but ultimately was crippled when I flopped middle set with 7’s and the BB flopped top set with 9’s.

Went all in on the next hand and missed. It was late in the rebuy period so after reloading I was all in shortly thereafter with a suited ace that didn’t amount to anything.

Shawn ultimately held out to be the last man standing:

A photo of all the colored up chips:

There were 13 buy ins; 7 rebuys; and 6 add-ons, for a total of 46,000,000 in play.

And, time for some new stuff:

The wife allowed me to order a second table; a BBO 8-seat:

Plus, an add-on for the Dragons came. I wanted some additional color-up chips to help with super late game and/or heads up.
