I only do one FFL a season. I prefer watching football over playing fantasy football.

I draft at 830. I have the 4th pick.

standard scoring. Passing TD's are 4 points. It is a PPR league.

With the 4th pick its looking like eddy lacy, Levon Bell, J.Charles or A. Brown.

If Bell were there at 4 I think I would have to take him, but after that I'm not sure. If Bell were gone I feel like I would want to be taking Antonio Brown at that spot, but I am probably influenced by the scoring I am used to in my leagues and all of them are 6pts for a td. 2pts may not sound like much, but it's enough to have me go Brown no doubt if td's were worth 6, being worth 4 I feel brings Lacey into the mix. I can't trust a Chef, so Charles is out for me.

Also, 10 or 12 person league? I think this year at the 4th spot in a 10 team league I would go WR/RB/WR, but if it's 12 I think I would want to go with RB/WR/WR as my first three pics. (assuming snake format)

I think in a 10 team league you could get a stud WR at #4, then hopefully Jeremy Hill is there on the way back down, then another stud WR like BRandin Cooks. Some people are going to be wasting picks on the top two (or three if youre lucky) qb's and a TE (or two if Jimmy Graham goes) so you should have three solid picks at #4.

10 person league. Receiving and Rushing TD's are worth 6, passing are worth 4 (for the QB, sorry)

5 of the top 10 RBs bust every year... A Brown is the safe bet (and SHWING in PPR) but this year there is a quick and steeeeeeep dropoff for RBs, possibly before you pick in the 3rd round. If Jamaal is still there at 4 I would have to take him.

Argument can be made for Gronk as well due to the sea of mediocrity at the TE position.

next pick is looking like A. Luck, AJ Green, possibly J. Hill, J. Forsett,

Don't worry about TE position IMO unless you get gronk at a deal, you only have one te spot but multiple wr and rb positions, my strategy is always err on the side of more spots to play them in.

RB's definitely bust, but the one back backfield is rare these days so if you have a chance in the second round for a focal point back like Jeremy HIll I would jump on it. WR is deeeeep so another stud 6 picks later is going to be doable.

Charles was gone. I took Bell.
I love Bell but only have him on one of my six drafted teams due to getting him on sale in an auction league ($51 with the first pick). He is outstanding but not so much to where I'd take him over Jamaal or Lacy. He is better but he isn't two games better ;) Per Marshawn and AP I don't own either of them in any of my leagues, predicting those two to be the busts out of the top 5.

Don't even consider Forsett in the 2nd. He's a late 3rd rounder and I've seen him drop to your slot in the 4th.

No straight up TE positions. Their all WR/RB/TE flex (or some combo).

I took J. Hill.

Good luck the rest of the way, have to get ready for my 7th league (auction draft @ 9pm)

Hes like a WR, he's a stud, and he's got one of the best qb's to ever play who is pissed off throwing to him, along with one of the greatest coaches ever who is also pissed off... I think you got a steal there, even in a league that doesn't force you to play a TE.

My theory in ff is you project out all the players stats prior to the draft. If you have a 12 team league, and can play 1 QB, then the twelfth ranked QB is what I would call league average, and he gets zero points. I then assign positive and negative points for all the other qbs based on how many more or less projected points than the average qb has. I do this for every position, and it enables me to compare respective values across positions.

Using my method, Gronk would be a steal in most drafts in the third round, based on relative points above replacement. Nicely done DD.

Meh draft. I did just a few minutes research yesterday that if I had an opportunity to get Adams or Hopkins I should. They are probably higher risk than where I took them. Fuck it. High risk low reward.......just like my poker game :)

Starting roster is weird. Commish is trying something different. Since its only a 20.00 league we were all good with it.

Starting Roster:

QB
RB
RB
WR
WR
RB/WR
WR/RB/TE
WR/RB/TE
DEF

5 Bench spots

Round
Pick Player Position
1. (4) Le'Veon Bell RB
2. (17) Jeremy Hill RB
3. (24) Rob Gronkowski TE
4. (37) Davante Adams WR
5. (44) DeAndre Hopkins WR
6. (57) Doug Martin RB
7. (64) Tom Brady QB
8. (77) Chris Ivory RB
9. (84) Eddie Royal WR
10. (97) Darren McFadden RB
11. (104) Stevie Johnson WR
12. (117) Rueben Randle WR
13. (124) Baltimore DEF
14. (137) Teddy Bridgewater QB

Looks like you're a little weak at receiver, but strong everywhere else. No kickers in this league? And no solo TE spots, so Gronk becomes less valuable.

I reached at a few WR spots. I figured, fuck it. I consider Gronk a WR. Not worried there.

We'll see. I'm not a very good fantasy football league player anyways :)

This is my 8 man league. Draft Results.PNG I should state that the line up is RB, RB/WR (flex 1), WR, WR, TE, TE/WR (flex 2).

My other league was an auction and the first time I ever did one of those. Many similar players (Gronk, Brees, Miller, Tucker) but went for Nelson and that has subsequently backfired. Would have liked my team if he didn't get hurt.

12 team auction draft, 6 pt passing td and ppr, standard rules otherwise.

^^^Were the other 11 teams asleep? That's a pretty solid team. Pressures is on though because if you lose with that team, you did something wrong.

Looking like my 5th pick of WR D. Hopkins was money. Dude has been ridiculous. 4th pick of D. Adams not so much. Oh well, can't win them all.

As of now I'm 3-1 and have the most scored points in the league. In my one loss I had the second highest scoring output in the league.

Bridgewater, Adams, Randle, and BAL defense are no longer on my team. New additions are WR S. Smith SR, WR T. Benjamin, RN Boobie Dixon, and ARI defense.

Last week I had gronk and brady on a buy week and still scored the most points thanks to Hill and Ivory.
