DrStrange
4 of a Kind
I have a nest of terrorists in my back yard. Perhaps not as deadly as other terrorists, but only feet away from the house.
Fortunatly my three lap dogs are on duty. They sit in the sun room six feet from the knot-hole and wait. As soon as they spot the attack, they sound the alarm and run the long way around to stand under the tree and bark.
This time of year, there are juvenile terrorists. Not as careful. Not as skilled in evasion. But a whole lot more cheeky. That means close calls. So far the squirrels have won every encounter, but several have been very close. Very close.
Doggie reality at its best. Sit on a fluffy pillow, watch the knot hole, chase the enemy when he dares appear and then back to the pillows. Rinse and repeat.
They could come back at any time.
