Hi guys,
iam new in this forum and already ordered my first barrel of paulson chips. My package was send from the US (west) to Japan (iam living in germany), which confused me a little and package is still "in Transit". What makes me worry, i ordered Poker chips couple weeks before from apachepokerchips which already arrived but online tracking also still shows "in Transit" Frankfurt, Germany.

What i wanted ask you guys, do i have to worry that my package wont come to me cause of some issues (package was send 7-8 days ago)? Does Japan (send by USPS) stop shipping cause of corona? Why my package didnt went from NY directly to europe instead of Tokyo? My seller was amazingly kind and friendly, i dont doubt any moment that he scammed me but anyway there is always a moment you get this question in your head, why my package was shipped to Tokio if shipping to europe from NY is much closer..?
Best regards.

Here is my tracking code: https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction?tRef=fullpage&tLc=2&text28777=&tLabels=LH093840708US,

Does your PayPal address reflect that you live in Germany? I’m guessing the package was shipped to the addy in PayPal.

What actually happens is the post office here gets something going international outbound, and they try to find flights going where the package is going. Covid-19 has caused a lot of grounded flights. It may be the only way to get it to where you are right now.

As a military guy in Japan, I can confirm a chip package going to CONUS did take about a week longer than expected. There is a thread on postal issues already. Seems like there is definitely an impact to timelines and it would make sense that it's directly related to flight availability.

Just looked, it's already left HND international, I wouldn't start to worry for at least 4~5 business days for an update, based on my own experience tracking stuff going through HND the other direction.

Hope it works out mate.

Thank you guys, you were all helpfull to calm me down a bit :).
Best regards from north europe!

Normal USPS shipping to Europe is 10 business days. Thinfs have slowed down a bit due to the effects of Corona Virus on staffing. It will likely take a bit longer to arrive.

I guess as most planes are grounded, delivery will take a lot longer. No planes in the air no international delivery. My chips are at sanfrancisco international airport with status transfer to destination. Since march 28. And my guess is, they will stay there a longtime..

I have sent packages to Japan on 2 different occasions.

I've offered air and land. Conincidentally, I've used both, and the shipping speeds were astoundingly different as well as cost.

By air, a package reached in 12 "business" days. Is it going to a military installation? I also noticed, from the port of arrival in Japan, it took 3 more business days to get to the address. (9 "business" days + 3 "business" days)

By land and sea, a package took 30 "business" days. However, that said, the timeframe of delivery for this speed was up to 60 business days.

So there are variables. As well, buy "business" days, I only consider Mon-Fri. Not all countries will move packages on weekends.

Just my .02

My ABC order has been in status "processed through our SAN FRANCISCO CA INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION CENTER facility" since March 28th, not sure whether it's already on the way across the pond or whether there are still some steps within the US?

I sure wouldnt send any international mail without tracking at the moment...

If it's on the way "across the pond", typically, it says "item on its way to destination country". But there are times a scan doesn't occur and it is Infact on a plane.

Right now though, things are messy.

I do. Still getting mail to USA from Canada with ease. I've got a package en route to Singapore. No tracking.

I still ain't lost a single package to a single user. Check my activity. Just saying, tracking doesn't mean the package is invincible

Of course you are right. But i do feel a lot better in this situation to have tracking, just in case. And if the package gets accepted it should get there, i just had to do some research on this. In switzerland i found out mail to usa will be accepted at the moment but no guarantuee about delivery times. For lot of other countries mail will not be accepted by swiss postal service, as there are no possibilities to transport

Im located in Canada, and I also could not receive any shipping from Norway.

Sorry just corrected my post, mail to the usa is still accepted but no guarantee about delivery time.

When I first started out on PCF, and selling, I had many packages that were tracked still not meet the delivery time. Pretty big money scam if you ask me. The only time I use tracking is when someone wants to pay the outrageous cost. The speed of delivery of a package is unchanged.

Just my opinion. Maybe I'm lucky, maybe not. Been doing what I do for over a year. Not at all deterred by sending packages without tracking. I've landed packages in France, Netherlands, UK, Japan, Singapore, and Norway ALL without tracking

Perhaps one day I'll lose one, but a tracked package isn't guaranteed to not get lost

Well you are right, probably more a piece of mind thing... Insurance wise is there also no difference, do you know?

Well, yea, insurance wise, i get nothing. If I add tracking to a shipment, I get UP TO $100 CDN. If I want more, it's $5CDN extra per $100 and it's maxed out at $500. I've never done it. I've never had a buyer ask for it. I've offered it. So in that regard, if I do lose a package, I'm SOL if I didn't have it tracked.

I will update you about the status of the package!
