Ordered 10 days ago. Received tracking finally yesterday after multiple requests for it. Received my order today and I am missing >200 chips from my order. Many chips were just loose in the box like they were just tossed in there, not in a stack or anything. Very disappointed.

Welcome aboard!

I'm very sorry to hear of your poor experience. Is there something that you have in mind for a poker chip set you're looking for? There's lots going on right now and I'm sure a few willing folks that may be willing to sell what they have!

Ugghh, just went to their site, their "Clay" section is almost all slugged plastic (13.5g), with the exception of the Milano China Clay.
@ascherer831 , you should contact them and get them to make the order whole, or refund the difference.

Or maybe its a blessing in disguise, fate telling you to dump the relatively cheap entry level chips (if they will refund your money) and explore the world of higher end China Clays (Majestic. 43mm Royal, etc., although not really clay), Ceramics (Sunfly, various others) and Compression Clay (Paulson/CPC - what most here would consider "true" clay chips). Unfortunately all of these come in at a higher cost than Milanos or slugged plastics, but many would tell you that they hold their value in the resale market (more so the Paulsons, less so the China Clays). First rule of PCS, however - get samples!

And BTW, welcome to the forum!

Contact Customer Service. If Poker Chip Mania is one of those online chip sellers who just take orders and have the chips shipped by a third party (a la DiscountCasinoGear), they will have a wealth of experience keeping their customers happy with a well oiled "ship the replacements" process.

Just an update on my order. I received the shipment that was supposed to make my order whole today. Unfortunately I was shipped chips I didn’t ask for and am still missing chips I did order. This company is a train wreck and I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE ANYONE FROM PURCHASING FROM THIS COMPANY

Have you ever had the same or similar experience with DiscountCasinoGear, or just Poker Chip Mania?

Blessing in disguise. Call them, get a refund, and then go buy the Jack set from The Chip Room. Or some BRpro poker ceramics

Wow, more thread resurrection. At least the company is living up to their name!
I think it was me who instigated the "resurrection", so sorry, but my questions was related to his comment about "being similar to DCG". Cause, I haven't ever had a deal with Poker Chip Mania, so I don't know them, but I have had a recent good experience from DCG, and if he meant they were similar in customer support, I didn't have a bad experience. They just were out of reds and I found out today that they might not be getting more until late December. Which is kind of late for me.

I ordered 600 Showdown chips in October of 2021 from Poker Chip Mania. I really wanted to get them from a reputable vendor I knew handled them, Apache. But they were sold out. In fact every vendor was out of these in September (beginning of the supply chain fiasco). So when they had them in stock at Poker Chip Mania, I ordered them right away. I intended them to be a Christmas present to me from my wife, so I didn't inspect them or play with them until the holiday. All I did was get them out of their wrappers and into the storage case I bought for them (in a dimly lit room). Big mistake.

When I got them out to get a good look at them in January, I discovered they were complete garbage. The edges and the faces had loose threads, ugly overlaps of parts of the design, etc. And I'm not talking about a dozen or so out of 600. That would be bad enough. But nearly all of them have at least some small defect. About two dozen of them have major defects (I wouldn't have missed them in the dark if I had spread them out, but I kept them in stacks). I sent their "customer service" two emails early in the year to get replacement chips and they never even responded. I'm well past the return period, but I thought I'd try anyway.

So I resigned myself to buying from another source. I thought I shouldn't have to buy the whole set, right? I planned to just weed out the bad ones from the ones I have, count the good ones, and make my order. I started with the Red because, at first glance, they looked to be in better shape than the green and white. When I had gone through all 100 chips in the first rack, I had only found four that were good. So I gave up on that.

I'm expecting my new ones (from PokerChips.com) this weekend and will take some comparison pictures which I can share here if anyone wants to see them. I already have pictures of the white and green from the bad set. I took those to send to Poker Chip Mania to advance my cause for replacement, but as noted above, they never responded. I'm attaching those here, three of them. Two are pics of them laying flat and one is a picture of the top racks in the case. Blow these up to get a close look at them and I think you'll be startled at just how poor the quality is on these. Even in my dimly lit living room, I can't figure out how I didn't spot these in October. Maybe I could have done something about it then besides complain here.

Rats!! When I tried to upload them, the system here complained they were too large. Each of them is over 10 MB. Anyone know how I can "shrink" them for best quality but still upload them?

I am trying to upload the pictures from my other post here today. Thanks for sticking with this process. Wish I could have just added them to the original to make it easier for you. If these don't scale correctly, I can try and make jpg files instead of png. Obviously graphic imaging isn't my area of expertise. Sorry!

Open them in Windows using the Paint application. Then select Resize from the Image submenu. It will be in Percentage by default (which is what you want to proportionally resize the image) and change the Horizontal amount to 50 percent. Then save the image using a new file name. Do not save over the old image as you probably want to keep the higher res image for your records.
