Recently there was a Craigslist ad for 1200 Paulson chips with a custom inlay for sale in Laguna Hills, CA. After emailing the seller we agreed on $1600 in bitcoin to ship them to me. Weirdly enough, the seller kept talking to me for a few days before completely cutting off contact. I reached out to @Steppenwolf once I realized an active PCFer lived nearby to see if he could contact the seller and meet, but he also received no response.

I was able to identify the seller by the phone number he used to text me and have already contacted the Laguna Hills Police Department to file a report, but I thought if someone here bought them in person maybe they would have some more information about the seller (vehicle info, etc.)

In hindsight perhaps a dumb mistake, but I like to think it was the right call just had a bad run out.

Chips looked good and came in nice cases :)

So the chips arrived in the 8 minutes between your OP and post #3?! :ROFLMAO:

Edit: I may have misunderstood the point of post #3.

Those are pictures he sent via email before I had sent the money. I found out the guy's identity by just searching the phone number he used to text me. His name is Sam, as is his father's, so I feel pretty safe assuming it's him being as he was selling "Sam's Casino" inlayed chips. His dad apparently got arrested in 1997 for running an illegal gambling parlor in Laguna Hills - I'm guessing these chips were used there haha.

UPDATE: After sending an email to the police chief I received a text from the seller and he is going to meet @Steppenwolf tonight (fingers crossed)

The chips are Scandia models with custom inlays (not sure if they ordered these directly from Paulson or if it's a custom label over the inlay).

I live nearby there too and heard about this fiasco from @Steppenwolf. If you need help and he bails on meeting with him tonight, let me know, will gladly assist.

Whoa @horseshoez... I think this can be resolved without any ass kicking. LMAO!!! But it sure is nice to have a friend who stands up for his peeps and what is right.

Got about 600 chips for $1600...not a terrible price, and they will come with a hell of a story.

Not enough people in the enjoy. Now that is a great thriller! Can’t wait to see the chippies!
