I need help deciding between 2 variations of a chip design I made. They are very similar and only have minor differences but I can't decide on which one I like more.

Get samples.
Arc yellow > DG yellow.
You aware your spot colors on the red are L7 and the associated cost?
The black chip seems rather simple after all that build-up.
What does the inlay look like? That can have an impact on the overall design.

2, but with some necessary tweaks, IMO.
-The frac doesn't have to be a 4D18. It would serve the spot progression better as a 3D18.
-The Light Blue dollar should retain its Pink (if not Retro Lavender) spots.
-The Mandarin red $5 is very nice.
-The DG Green could benefit from some Blurple spot, in combination to the DG Peach (or, even better, DG Pink or DG Peacock).
-The Hundo is suffering from both lack of color contrast AND spot progression. To keep it as simple as possible, I 'd opt for 4DS316 spots, be it Mandarin Red, or DG Pink, or DG Yellow.

Your red chip is L7 because your spots don’t alternate like your green chip…
