Wanted Desert Palms $5 Poker Chips (1 Viewer)

I am looking for 200-300 $5 red Desert Palms poker chips. If anyone has extras or wants to sell an entire set at a reasonable price, please let me know.

P.S. If I can't find any $5 Desert Palms chips for sale, I need to get them from a different brand/vendor. Can anyone help me with a similar chip, especially when it comes to quality, texture and feel? I would like to find a complementary chip that closely resembles the Desert Palm chips.

You might want to specify that you are looking for the China clay version of the DPs. I haven't seen any for sale in a long time just so you know. The 5s and 1s don't come up too often. GL with the search.

^^^^^^^^This is correct. The CCs were from The Chip Room. He unloaded all he had about a year ago.

So if you're looking for China Clays, and can't find the DP's, I'm assuming your alternatives are chips such as Majestics, Milanos, and Pharaohs... Have you looked at any of those? The CPS are a slightly different feel.

I agree. The texture, feel, weight, and clicking sound of the chips are the best I have ever used, at very reasonable prices

Majestic's are expensive at $0.36/chip. It will cost $108+ for 300 chips, while in comparison I can get a 1000 chip set with a carrying case for less than $200. (I know these Monte Carlo chips are not exact same chips, and not a direct comparison, but we use them, in a different venue and everyone likes them). Pharaohs are the same price with Milanos slightly less.

Well, just so you know the DPs you are looking for will cost you anywhere between 15-25c apiece. More than likely on the high end (maybe even more) for 1s and 5s. So you might want to abandon the DPs and go with ABS injection molded chips. They "feel" nothing alike, but are more in your price range.

Also, get samples before you make a purchase. All chips "feel" and sound different. There are 3 main rules before buying chips.

#1- get samples
#2- get samples
#3- get samples
