I have a set of semi custom Desert Palms BCC chips hot-stamped with ‘The Oasis Cardroom’

Here’s one with the missing denominations

The things that kept me from buying this set were the brick pattern in the background and the irregular placement of the denominations. I’m a huge geek when it comes to Ancient Egypt, but those two design “flaws” broke the deal.

I just settled for a small sample set instead.

Yes, I know the poem (and the historical figure, Ramesses II), I thought you meant that there was an Ozymandias-themed set out there already.
No, just idea. Not peticulary fond of Egiptian themed chips after Pharaoh's by Paulson.
But I thinking of custom CPS solid, hot stamp set inspired by Roman Republic. I am thinking " Mundus vult decipi, ergo decipiatur" motto on the rim, close to my heart. Not sure if possible with hotstamp.
I like the poem thou.

Ooo, that's nasty. Much more emotional than "Senatus Populusque Romanus" (SPQR for you initial fans out there)
I started playing poker in small club in Warsaw, penny Stakes. Along came vultures, peticulary one pro who specializes in PLO. Despite penny stakes he made Nice living of our donations. I am pretty sure we paid for his flat remodeling. There was annoyance, hate and finally respect. We hardly friends but I like that he considered me worthy opponent not only in NLH but also PLO.
After four years I have found myself in his shoes.
As Barry Greenstein said "You make most of your money in poker playing weaker opponents than you are".
Hence the motto....
