Key West chips arrive from Classic Poker Chips
At just before 3 p.m. today, a UPS truck pulled up to deliver the last of six large boxes of Key West Resort & Casino chips from Classic Poker Chips. This completes our order, placed in April, for 10,000 chips.
The first group of boxes arrived last Friday, Aug. 19, and I've had time to go through those and inventory them. They look fantastic! The last box, containing just over 1,600 chips, arrived today.
So as of today, the "Key West Resort & Casino" is fully stocked with all denominations, and standing by to hear from players interested in their own set.
Many thanks to David, David and Jim at Classic for the fine work!
12-chip sample sets return
Since we're fully stocked, the option to buy a full sample set of all 12 denominations of Key West casino chips has been put back on the Key West website.
A peek into the "back office"
Here is a photo of the Key West's retail "chip bank," in my office. Counting denominated Key Wests, roulette chips and $1 blue chips, there are just over 17,000 chips in all. (I note that we don't usually stack more than five boxes on a shelf, but we did for this photo, Usually, anything above the fifth box begins a new stack on the front of the shelf.)
