So from the intel I gathered thanks to PCF threads are that these chips are ASM/Classic Poker Chips made for Del Negro as the Italian company specialize in playing cards and European style Bakelite chips, so these chips were most likely outsourced to the states. Wondering if any of you guys have more information on them and to see if the aforementioned are true. Are brass shavings a trademark for CPC’s? What your thoughts are on them. They are lovely to play with and the wooden ebony box they come is money. Piling these chips as we speak. Oh and that’s Daisy. :)

Yes, they are ASM/CPC chips on the Cards and Dice mold. Brass flakes are a trademark of CPC weighed colors (i.e. non-Retro and non-Daygloo).
As you 'll find out, by reading a lot and being tutored here, there are too many denominations in this set (or too few chips for so many denominations) for the set to be really playable.
Beautiful chips anyway.

Pshaw. The breakdown appears to be, roughly:

100 x 0.50 (Grey)
100 x 1 (Blue)
100 x 2 (Yellow)
100 x 5 (Pink)
125 x 20 (Darker Blue)
50 x 100 (Burgundy)
50 x 500 (Black)
75 x ??? (Brown chips, I don't think they were in the denoms picture)

It's not a breakdown we would recommend anyone go buy from scratch, but you can certainly use it to play!

Thanks Eddie. I have a correct breakdown of the ASM/CPC DIECARs. Sorry, I was in the middle of Oiling them

110 x 0.50 (Gray)
125 x 1.00 (Blue)
109 x 2.00 (Yellow)
105 x 5.00 (Pink)
105 x 20 (Purple)
90 x 50 (Brown)
80 x 100 (Red)
75 x 500 (Black)

Total chip count is 799

Ramzi

*Dal Negro chips.

Cute dog! In my short time collecting PVC/acetate cards, Dal Negro has stood out (to me) as one of the nicer decks. Having watched a video of some Dal Negro cards shattering under impact, I was initially hesitant to try them out. Now that I own some of my own, I've found that my reservations were unfounded: It really is a great product. I will just be a little more cautious with the Dal Negros than my other cards about hitting them with a hammer. I can't speak to the quality of the chips, but they look very well-made. I am not surprised to hear that they were outsourced, however. After browsing Dal Negro's website, it did seem like they specialized in playing cards (and other toys) and did not involve themselves so much in chips.

Thanks for sharing the video. I have not opened the 2 decks of Del Negro cards to see how they play. I play with KEM and COPAGs. The chips were def outsourced to classic poker chips. They stack exceptionally well and have a nice feel to them. They look good stacked too. :)
