this happened last night, and im still in shock.
super splashy player says dealer black or red (while i'm shuffling). i always say black but for some reason said red. he's like okay. i put the flop out it's all red he throws me $100. im like nah bro, atleast wait til you win a hand so i don't feel bad. i throw it back, he's like nononono take it. fine...

20 minutes later 'dealer pick a number between 50-75, and you have to be within 3'. so i think for a few seconds, then say 68. he yells 'Bang!' shows his phone and it says 66. then he stands up, pushes me his whole stack ($900ish) and says 'alright i gotta go piss'.
goes to the bathroom, then leaves.
i scream across the room 'thank you _______' as he's walking out.
throws the deuces and leaves.

also: edit/update the guy was arrested for robbery and grand theft a month later

Well, someone doesn't care about money. Must be a nice position to be in.
he mentioned how the 10/25 game was a bad game (players were all pro ish) and how over here (2/5) it was easy to just punt 1000 at a time.
and thats exactly what i said to him 'it must be nice to have that disposable income of a thousand a time'

Propably wrong place to post but...

Once I have accepted girls bra as a collateral at cash game. Boy her boyfriend got pissed.

I deal table games in addition to poker, as a dealer in Florida, so my biggest tips have come as a result of people hitting big on bonuses. In a cash game, my biggest tip went something like this- before I dealt, a player in early position says, "Dealer, if I win this hand, I'll split the pot with you."
This is followed by a four-way all-in preflop at ~150 deep, which my EP friend takes down. I dropped $300 for that at a 1/2 $200 cap table.

Player wins 6k pot in a 5-5 no cap game. Piles and Piles of red chips and about 4k in black. Player is stacking up the pot. Starting with the black chips. I'm dealing out the next hand, praying that he doesn't forget to tip. Then he looks up at me, realizes he didn't tip, then stacks up 5 Chips and tosses them to me. What he thinks are red. But he missed one black and it was one of the chips he tossed. Since I saw everything it was obvious he didn't want to give me a black. So I told him and he damn near jumped out of his seat trying to get his black chip back. Then tipped me 3 extra red for noticing. All the regulars made fun of me and said I should have just said thanks and kept it. Lol.

tipping karma is real!

A poker player split a $5,000 jackpot with me. This was back in the 90’s and the jackpot was for a player receiving a spade royal flush.
The casino paid jackpots in the back room (managers office) presenting the money to the player and the dealer that dealt the hand witnessing the payout.
The player told me while I was dealing, “All I need is the King of spades on the board dealer!” He said, “Give me the King of spades and I’ll split that jackpot with you!”
He received the king on the river.
We went in the managers office and he was paid out cash and handed me $2,500.
