This is a dealer button group buy based on the thread started by @kk405 here. The general idea is to create dealer buttons that have never been made before, or were made years ago. Maybe with an emphasis toward basing them on actual casinos or epic chip sets (with the owner's permission, obviously). I have coined the term "PCFDBGB" to stand for "Poker Chip Forum Dealer Button Group Buy." Unless demand drops off, the plan is to run one of these every three months, hence the "Q1" prefix.

There is already quite a long list of suggestions in the above mentioned thread. I knew from previous discussions that @p5woody designed some of these suggested buttons, so I reached out to him, and Steve has agreed to contribute a number of his designs for this inaugural order. Two of our other great PCF members, @Gear and @Quicksilver-75 , have also agreed to contribute some of their designs to this order.

Most of the DB artwork has a rolling edge design. In order to get the rolling edge printed, there is a minimum order quantity (MOQ) of 10 (ten) per design. If we do not reach this minimum, we will not get the rolling edge printed (it will be plain white). That said, I don't expect the MOQ to be a problem for this group buy. The two Terribles buttons that I own have rolling edge printing, but the artwork I have for these buttons does not show it. I will ask @p5woody for the rolling edge artwork for each button so that I can share it. The Avalon Club buttons have plain black and plain white rolling edges.

The buttons will be produced by our dealer button go-to site vendor @BR Pro Poker on their 60mm ceramic blanks. Price per button will ultimately depend on our final order quantity, but it should be in the $5.00 range plus re-shipping.

Below is the list of dealer buttons (and high hand buttons) that are available for purchase (items A thru V). The order chart will be in post #2 of this thread - if you see an error with your order, let me know ASAP. Images of the dealer button designs will be in post #3 of this thread.

If you wish to participate in this group buy, please place your order in the following manner:
A x 4
C x 2

H x 1

I will keep this order thread open thru late March, so you've got plenty of time to contemplate your order quantities. My current plan is to close this to new orders at midnight on Sunday, March 21, and begin collecting payments the following week via PM. If all payments are collected, the order will be placed with BR Pro Poker on Friday, March 26, and it will be about 3 weeks until I receive the order. Then, give me some time to get everyone's orders packed up and shipped out. I am totally willing to ship internationally, but as we all know, there is a higher degree of risk you take with those shipments compared to CONUS shipping.

I got my hands on a few Terrible's buttons in the meantime so if there's no additional interest, I'm happy to withdraw that suggestion.

I should also say, and I probably missed this in some previous post, but I don't quite understand the process for doing DB GB's. Do we need a certain # of takers *per design* or just an overall total number that can be split between like 3-10 different designs?

I will be creating a separate "interest / suggestion box" thread in a bit.

Ideally, we will have at least 10 orders for each dealer button. That gives us rolling edge printing on each button. I would be a bit surprised if that didn't happen. The overall total quantity doesn't impact rolling edge printing. Is that what you're asking?

Yup that makes sense, thanks for this and previous clarifications. When these kinds of GB's are run, generally how many DB's are printed at a time? More than 10? 20?

Do you mean how many DBs are offered in a typical group buy? Or how many of each button are produce? Or how many total?

Yeah like how many different styles are you "expecting" for a group buy. Just curious since it's a pretty long initial list. Not that important obviously.

Gotcha. It really depends. When I first started this process, I wanted to keep the numbers to about 15-20 different buttons per group buy. But the Terribles alone have 7 versions, and the Outposts have 6 versions. My guess is that the next group buy MIGHT be around the same as this one, but each successive one should be more in-line with my original target quantities.

It also depends on how much investigative work people want to put into this. I don't have the time to do all of the research myself. So others are going to need to do some of the leg work if they want to see some of these buttons made.
