Do you prefer to use a Dealer button or not?

Why just one???

Cover the table in dealer buttons and play cards on top of them would be my choice!

No matter what the button will fall behind but some people use the button to see their position for Betting purposes so we always try to use a button. Why have 2 choices when you can have 270??? Excessive?

Absolutely. It can also double as deck capper / protector in this case (self-dealt game).

I like to use it, especially in games like BigO where the stub will be very small after dealing. Placing the button on it helps protect it from getting mixed up with the muck.

We already own the dealer buttons ..................... why own them and not use them?!? Of course we use them

Assuming a game like Hold'em, I like to use one because it makes the game more similar to a casino for newer players. They already may have some angst on dealing, shuffling, etc...I just think the button makes for one less thing "different" for them.

Just kidding on the above Statement. I love dealer buttons and they are essential to every game or else people lose track of who is acting first.

At our weekly league games we use buttons for dealer, SB and BB. With all 3 we still need to remind some people to put their blind in, or stop talking and shuffle!

For my hosted games, differen crowd, I've just got a DB. We don't really need one, but as above with all the cool custom buttons why wouldn't we
