@SeanGecko has bravely taken on the task of running a custom ceramic chip group buy ... https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/custom-artwork-group-buy-us-can-cards-mold.58260/

Many people have expressed an interest in producing custom dealer buttons to accompany their chip sets. If you provide the artwork, I will run the dealer button group buy. Lots of people on this site collect dealer buttons (myself included), and a group buy is the easiest way to reach the minimum order quantities (MOQ) required to get printing on the rolling edge of the dealer button. Just so everyone is aware ... dealer buttons that are more personalized (i.e. "Doug's Poker Room") won't get as much interest from collectors as a more generic theme or name. So if you don't reach the minimum quantity of 10, you will get blank rolling edges.

The buttons will be produced by our dealer button go-to site vendor @BR Pro Poker on their 60mm ceramic blanks. Price per button will ultimately depend on our final order quantity, but it should be in the $5.00 to $5.50 range plus shipping.

The deadline for submitting artwork for your dealer button(s) is Friday, September 18 - don't forget the rolling edge design! Then I will begin taking order quantities for a period of one week. Then I will collect payments and submit the order to BR Pro Poker. Orders are typically delivered within 3 weeks of the order being placed, so at this point you can expect to have your custom dealer buttons in-hand around mid to late October.

ARTWORK DESIGNS CAN BE FOUND IN POSTS 174 THROUGH 176 (I can no longer edit post #2 for some reason).

BRAVE??? Alright.
Yes, brave. When you’re talking about ordering 20,000+ chips ... it’s either bravery or insanity. I’m giving you the benefit of the doubt.

I assume that’s a dealer button with a different image on each side? As opposed to two DB designs?

Can we get aligned edges for these buttons?
Dealer buttons don't usually have edge spots. The orange PCF buttons do, though, and their edge spots are aligned. So it's possible, but I will have to ask to see if there is an extra cost.

Just did some research on their website. MOQ for aligned edges is 10.

With that said, I'm going to drop from this buy as i don't need 10 buttons.

Depending on the design of the dealer button, you might get there. Lots of people on this forum collect dealer buttons (myself included), so getting to 10 isn't as difficult as you might think.

So this issue leads to a question. How are you going to determine the number of buttons to order? Once all the artwork is posted, are you going to have another thread where everyone posts their interest in each button?

@TheDuke I too think you should get back in. Even though I'm not really a button collector (yet?) I plan to buy some of the other buttons from this GB, plus quite a few of my own. I figure once I start using them I may give some to players in my tournaments and want to have extras. Ten is not that may. We'll help you get there! Do you have a draft of your art yet that you can show us?

I know of a number of people who collect them. If they could push the number to 10 just contacting them (likely), then I would leave it at that. If I need to go public, then I will.

Thanks - great idea! Giveaways are a pretty good idea. I don't actually have button art finalized.

I love that folks on this site dig poker as much as I do!

@Himewad can you ask if they can do custom seating chips too? I'll probably want them on 47mm chips.
I'll probably do the same design as my Dealer button except replace Dealer with a seat #. So do i need my design gut do make all 20 or are they capable of doing that themselves?

Unless anyone has universal seating chip artwork?

Or do you want me to go direct to them so you only deal with DB's? I feel like i asked this already so sorry if i'm repeating myself, just tell me fugetaboutit

@Himewad , James, please add me to the list of participants for the DB buy. I'd definitely want to run some DBs from my design, which is in progress.

I would prefer to just handle the dealer buttons. Seating chips have a different “design” for each chip, and they are double sided as well, so they require a bit more work.

In, will provide artwork inline with the chip GB.

I just added my dealer button designs to the second post.

Still finalizing my second DB, but will send you my other one now. Not a true DB but looking for the 60mm...
