Just saw that former Phillies' catcher Darren Daulton died. This guy was my idol when I was a kid...

Fuck cancer.

Daulton was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2013 and had surgery to remove a pair of tumors related to glioblastoma. He was declared cancer-free in 2015, but the cancer returned earlier this summer.

To me, he was always just another guy who's card I didn't want to see when opening a new pack. But he played baseball in the 80's and that makes him part of my childhood.
