I think this is a good deal from someone relatively new to poker. For example, someone who has played home games for 1-2 years and is looking to start playing 1/3 at the casino.

IMO Daniel is not the person I would look to for advice on how to play today's mid to high stakes games.

I love the idea though. Daniel has the name to make this work. He should do a broad introduction to poker so it could potentially even bring new players in. I think many people who don't play are intimidated by dipping their toes in the water.

That was my thought as well. Even he admits that he had to spend a lot of time to re-learn how poker is being played today. I've been following his VLOG for WSOP and would like to see him cash a few, but you are absolutely spot on. He has the branding for pushing it.

I will. I’m doing the primer webinar now and it’s definitely already changing my game for the better. I’m 3 lessons into the 10 week primer course.

Looking forward to hearing about SFW academy. Would you mind sharing what the cost is?

Are you doing the cash or tourney academy?

The primer is $1000 and gets you 10% off the academy

The academy is $3500 before the discount.

I’m staying at the Venetian, so with planes and hotels and the primer it’s about $6k all in.

You can get cheaper rooms than the Venetian obviously.

I’m doing the cash academy.

That's awesome. If I played a lot more Poker the cost would be justifiable. For a winning $2/5 player I don't feel like that cost is unreasonable at all.

I have asked Santa for one of these types of events for a decade. No joy [ yet ]

Please offer a detailed trip report. Maybe I'll be my own secret Santa next year. . . .

I am very interested to hear a review from you on the course and a basic overview of what is covered. What stakes do you usually play? I imagine you have to play at least 2/5 regularly to make it worth it.

Enjoy it!

I’m a 2/5 reg beating the game for about $34/hour this year. Looking to up my game from beating to crushing.

I make a decent living in my day job and poker is purely for fun.

No one has commented yet if they actually bought the Dnegs class and/or liked/hated it.

Everyone is saving for chips. Having cool chips is way more important than being good at poker.

Lol I agree. I have a stack of unread books I should peak into before giving DNegs anything anyways but was curious. I’ve only been reading/studying PLO but thought it might be +EV to care about that 2 card game again. Last mini vacation I had I got a night out at the casino but no Omaha action at all.
