Thank god its only a one time 20 buck entry fee. I forgot all about it. Did zero prep work. Draft starts in 35 minutes.

Any help/suggestions are welcome. Here is a brief scoring summary of our league.

QB: 1 point for 25 yards, bonuses at 300, 400, and 500 yards. 4 points per TD, -2 for INT's

RB: 1 point for 10 yards, bonuses at 100, 200, and 250 yards

WR: basically the same for RB's

Kickers standard scoring. Negative points for misses. Its worse pending the distance of the miss

I should know my draft position in a couple of minutes.

I have the 8th pick in the draft.

10 player league. Snake draft style
 
1st round - Le'Veon
2nd - Lacy
3rd - Keenan
4th - Cobb/TY
5th - Kelvin Benjamin
6th - Melvin Gordon

I've built all of my teams on as many of these guys as I could get this year, if the future pans out the way I'd like these six guys will all be top 20 picks in next years fantasy drafts :D

If you get Le'Veon pick up DeAngelo when you can in the later rounds and don't sleep on Jameis and Zach Miller as late round picks. Expected Stefon Diggs to have a big year but Teddy's injury could alter that a bit.
 
Is L Bell suspended? looks like he his missing the first four games.

No problem. In the interest of full disclosure I have every guy I mentioned in the above post except TY Hilton and DeAngelo in the PCF league and I believe I'm projected to score the fewest points of anyone in week one ;)

Yes.. if you take him you can't sleep on rb's early.. although grabbing deangelo williams later solves that but you can't always anticipate when players go.
Unless this is a keeper or dynasty league I generally stay away from players that are suspended, Bell, Brady, Gordon etc. Unless you get them at a huge discount (a round or 2 later than normal)

We had a new guy in our fantasy draft last night (ppr). He had the number one pick overall. He drafted Matt Jones. So remember people, no matter how bad your fantasy team is, you'll never be Matt Jones number one overall bad.
 
Forsett was briefly cut but is back on the Ravens as the starting RB, no lol needed.

I actually like this team. you should at least be competitive all year.

What is the consensus on starting K> Benjamin THUR. night vs DEN. My primary option would be to start G. Tate in his place.

I would start Tate this week over KBen for 2 reasons. 1. Denver has good cover D. 2. KBen needs to get a couple of games under his belt before I trust him to contribute fully.
 
who is your flex, Gordon? This is a PPR league, so dump Gordon and put in a WR.

edit: not sure why I thought it was a PPR league, but I would still sit Gordon for one game until his role is more clearly defined (he does have Woodhead sharing the backfield with him)

I haven't seen mention of PPR or Flex (have now)
