Here's some pr0n of my newly relabeled Milano micro set. Obviously a riff off of the Stardust casino inlay with a little Colorado twist. The new labels definitely add some personality to those generic Milano chips.

Huge thanks goes out to @Gear for the great work and design suggestions!

Pfft. School is expensive. Start 'em at $5/$10. Then set everything you take from them into a savings account for their college.

If they take your money instead, they're enroute to a scholarship. Win-win. (y)

Outstanding. The 20 chip is especially cool, considering the Colorado theme. I also like the black and white contrast interplay. I have Crazy Horse (Milano type) chips, so I am a fan for sure. Cheers

Sorry if I misunderstand, but did you originally start with Milanos denominated chips and then relabeled them all, or did you just buy the double trapezoid blanks and label them fresh? I'm assuming a laminated label, too?

Yep... I started with regular labeled, denominated Milanos - peeled off all the Milano stickers - and applied the Gear laminated labels.

It added a bit of work to peel off all the old Milano labels, but this way I was still able to use the vanilla Milanos while I tweaked the new label design and worked my way up Gear's queue. I think the price difference between denominated Milanos and blank trapezoids is only a penny a chip.

Nice job. Love that inlay and how you’ve tied it into the theme.

Nice design. Did you put the new labels on or did you have Gear put them? It sounds like you ordered them from Gear and applied them yourself. If so how hard is it to do it yourself?

I am looking at putting together a tournament set with blank Milano’s and custom labels.

Some modification of my family sticker.

Yep... Ordered the stickers from @Gear and applied them myself. It's incredibly easy - probably less than a minute per chip to apply labels to both sides. I peeled the new label off the sheet with the point of an exacto knife, hovered it over the chip until it was exactly where I wanted it, then pressed it down with my thumb. Repeat a few hundred times.

Very interesting design for your family sticker. Maybe you could do that full design on one side then do a modified design with a denomination for the other side.

You also might consider the Majestics. For some reason I think your label would look great with the Majestic crown mold and spot design (especially the orange chip).

Thanks for the info. Had not thought of two different sides. This is new to me. I bought my crystal park money set when they first came out (2001 or 2002 I think). I have not looked at chips again until two weeks ago. Boy a lot has changed. I got three sample sets in today and the Milano’s feel good enough for the three table 1500 count set I have kicking around in my head.

I have a lot of “thinkin” to do. I will look harder at the Majestics and probably order a sample set.

Thanks again for your time!

Thanks guys... I like the design enough that I’m thinking about putting them on those sunfly group buy chips too.

These are awesome. I love the Stardust font/logo and have thought about using it in some design.
Very well done - Love Them!!
