Got these during the GameOn August special. The chips look great. They feel just like I remember a Chipco feeling. The one thing I would do differently is make the denomination on the dog side bigger, but with the other side having a bigger number it's not a big deal. The 43mm chips are sweet.

Damn, these look great. Colors, artwork, edgespots, and oversize big denom are all excellent.

I really have to come up with a design for a custom ceramic set that I don't need - I may steal your idea and do a tribute to my 4-legged mutt :)

Nice work!! I really like the overall look of those. Impressive.

love the straightforward design and traditional color combos. 5k is my favorite, though. that dark green on the charcoal looks fantastic.

now let's see some pics of that dog! :)

EDIT: i've also been thinking of going with the old-style white ring even though GOCC is capable of full-bleed printing now. could you speak a little bit about your decision to go with the white ring and any advice you might have received from GOCC on that decision?

They look wonderful.

I disagree on the bigger denom - it's fine as-is. In fact, you could have only had the denom on one side, and I think it would be fine.

The white ring separated the face from the rolling edge nicely, and it works really well together. (I'm typically peeved by non-aligned edge art.)

Jbutler, I didn't ask or receive any advice about the ring vs no ring. I actually kind of like the ring because it looks like an old school Chipco, which I love. I'm not a huge fan of ceramics that try to look like clays, so aligning spots and faces doesn't appeal to me. The ring is noticeable but it's so subtle I don't even think twice about it.

I wish I could have taken advantage of the sale. I have (what I think is a great) concept for a tournament set, just don't have the artwork done. I will get the artwork done when I do my CPC artwork, hopefully by the end of the year.

Those look great ....... I think the denomination on the dog side looks fine....anything bigger would crowd the picture. At first I thought that the 100 and 5k chips might be too close in color, but then realized the 5k is oversized (and chances are 100's are not in play with that many 5k's anyways). I am also glad you used orange for 1k (my favorite color of chip) :)

Congrats! They sure turned out great. I think the 1k is my fav but they all look nice. The white ring fits right in with the design on these.

Curious about the breakdown.

And handsome dog. [emoji106]

Breakdown is 160-160-80-100-50. Can handle twenty player T5k or T10k at 8-8-4-2-1 plus plenty of rebuys, add-ons, and color-ups.

Hey Bigkyle, is your orange set like a Day-Glo orange? They look fantastic in the pics, but you know the whole "pictures don't do it justice" phrase. Is that the case with that color? Is it much brighter/more vibrant in person? Reason why is because I wanna do a Full blown custom order of 5,000 cheques from GOCC for a full crap table as well as a cash/tourney poker night and some of my ideas require Day-glo/neon colors. I'm afraid that if they don't come out bright I'll be disappointed. I'll show you some examples.

P.S. First reply on Pcf!! Love this place!! You guys seem VERY nice and I'm glad to be part of this forum!
Top pic will be a 50¢ piece and the bottom obviously a $500 piece respectively.

Hey welcome. IMO GoCC have the best ceramic chips. The samples I have are the brightest and crispest printing I've seen on ceramics. Don't think you can go wrong.

Ps. Also sometimes they will print prototypes, see if they can then you can see how they turn out before getting the whole set.

Whenever I get the art in order I am doing a cash set through GOCC. I have samples and what I have seen from them so far is outstanding.

@charlie96792 do a search on here for the nine dragons chips, they have some bright colors in the set. I have samples of them and they are as bright of colors as I have seen on ceramics yet

Nice bump for this thread. Love these chips. I keep thinking I would like a tournament set with a larger denom on it like these, as some of our players have difficulty reading the chips I currently have. And I'm a fan of the samples I have from GOCC.

Just as a reminder, if you order 2,000 or more 39mm chips from GOCC, their per chip price drops from .85 each to .60 each. Among the best deals in custom chips ever imo. Aligned edges is .10 each and UV printing is .06 each.
