I'm considering designing a deck that will match my future custom cash set. I'm looking for places to print them, but so far all I have found are printers with large run requirements. I do not mind paying for 20 or so decks, but not a 100+ deck run requirement.

Has anyone else done this? Any recommendations on printers, etc?

I was just looking for their plastic card stock. Can you tell me what it was you did not like about it? Too thin?
Not at all actually. The stock was pretty thick as a matter of fact. Some may not mind this, but I found the stock to be really slick and slippery. Lots of misdeals and had cards sliding out of my hand when shuffling. They have a glossy finish that I for one don't like at all on both sides of the stock. I don't mind if one side of the stock is matte and the other has texture, but they felt cheap to me, especially in paying north of $20 per deck after shipping costs for a small run of 4 decks.

@JMC9389 Thanks for the details! I do know where you are coming from....I've had experience with plastic cards that are slick/slippery. Not a good in-game experience at all.

The best scenario to find yourself in is to give your poker game/card room a similar name to a European casino and hope that they close and liquidate their plastic card stock.

See @Seeking Alpha Social Club and how he essentially lucked into custom Modiano bridge size cards that matched his room perfectly :D

Agee....but even a pure stroke of luck has its complications. :)

I designed these and ordered 5 decks just to make sure how they would turn out.

No Bicycle you can have them printed on their stock or cheaper stock. I chose the Bicycle stock but it cost a lot more.

Here is what the site has to say I will order some of the others after i get these just to see the difference and will let it be known.

Style: Bicycle Playing Cards

Personalize a set of the world’s most well-known and respected playing cards. Bicycle playing cards have been a staple at game tables around the world since 1885.
  • Easy to shuffle
  • 52 playing cards, 2 Jokers per deck
  • Comes with standard Bicycle tuck case

I was looking into this also. To get pricing you have to request a quote so it probably depends a lot on the size of the print run. They only take 100 decks or higher. For smaller runs, it is the "personalized" option and it refers you to the zazzle website and it is $20/deck and up for paper cards.

You can do any amount of decks and the way I read into it they are using Bicycle stock.

Well I got my custom cards today I ended up having to order them from Make Playing Cards. Ordered 6 decks of each color to get a better price but they raped me on shipping I think. $28 to ship USPS but they would print what i wanted. they are shown with my Chanman custom printed cloth and my cheap fracs. I will try to get better pics tomorrow.

Linen is just a name for one of the finishes they put on paper cards.
I believe this is the one I ordered I went to the site to refresh my mind (which is scrambled at this time) I'm on a different computer right now

M31 casino quality card stock with black core (linen finish)

Those are nice!

I'm finishing up on my design and will be ordering shortly. I will be going with plastic for the first run.
Let me know how they turn out. But remember the shipping is crazy $28.00 on 12 decks.
