Show your Crystal Park sets off here. This is the first Paulson set I’ve gotten back into in a several years. I know some people have some amazing sets and they should have a place to show off all of their leaden goodness.

The thing about handling these chips that I didn’t realize until I played @Hornet’s is that they are HEAVY. The $10s might be the heaviest Paulsons I’ve ever shuffled.

Here is my relatively new and humble offering to start it off:

After 32 years on the same house, we finally sold to developers. I was careful with all my sets, but this on in particular was the one I asked the friends helping me to pack carefully. The move was only 4 minutes away, but still.... Long story short, for the past week I've TORE apart every box, repeatedly, looking for these chips. THEY WERE GONE! I was sick to my stomach and just could not believe that somehow a box of poker chips went missing? HOW? Today the wife says, "Are these what you're looking for?" Some towels were tossed on top of them in a laundry basket set into a spare bedroom. The person who "boxed" them swears they put them in a box! You have no idea how many boxes I've gone through. Funny story now. I'll try to dig up the pics of when I owned several thousand of these, but sold off everything below $25 denoms and concentrated on building a set that could be used for 6-8 players with higher denoms. How COOL to see BP back on-line! Made my day...almost as much as finding these chips today. :)

Wow, there are some amazing sets out there. I hope everyone is enjoying theirs as much as I have with mine.

interesting breakdown. what stakes and games do you play?
I've been playing 5 and 7 card games with the same guys for over 35 years, we just haven't changed our "buy in" much in that time. We use the $25 chips and .25c, $5 as .50c and the $1 and $2 are face value. When I purchased this set I just liked the way the higher denominations looked, so we made do with what I bought.

Question for the Crystal Park historians -- how do we know which chips were the primaries and which were the secondaries from the original casino? Seems odd to me that the casino would cancel the secondaries sitting in the vault (of which I have seen many), but not cancel the primaries from the floor (I have never seen a cancelled primary). Anyone know of good background reading about the casino and the chips?

I’ve seen a few canceled primaries. But I am not sure why they canceled the secondaries.
