hey hey... not sure if this is the right area to post this but I figure I'll throw this out there. I'll be cruising in a couple weeks and I just want to know if there is any interest on samples from the casino on the boat. I'm new to this side of the chippin world so pointers are appreciated. thanks and Happy Chippin!!! :cool

What vessels are you going to be on? Any pics of chips would be helpful!

if you don't have the chips in hand yet this technically is not the correct place/way to ask. I'd create a thread in the "Chip collectors corner" (or w/e it's called) and post a similar thread there. If you have unclaimed extras after or once you're on the cruise itself, then I'd say the Classifieds is the right place to post it.

Good luck on the poker and the harvesting!

It would be interesting to hear about your experience -- we're booked on the Sun from FL through the Panama Canal and on up to Seattle next spring.

Have fun!

Most cruise chips are now ceramic or plastic from what I’ve seen, one of which was NCL.

They mix them in with Paulson's.

I'm pretty sure the chips I saw on Princess' roulette and craps tables were still clay. They've gone to all video poker tables, though.
We were on the Carnival Miracle this spring and they didn't have any poker tables, just this big digital table where you "remote in" to other games. All their other chips were Paulson though at their Black Jack tables and stuff. Didn't check much else out.

I know they're protective of their chips though. They wouldn't give a one out of their cage and the tables were so sparse it would have been difficult to pocket many so I decided it wasn't worth it.
