Being the degen that I am, my next long term goal is to design and build a WSOP custom CPC set that can be purposed as a cash or tournament set. Cash games use the lower three denoms mostly for cash games, all except the 5 NCV chips for potentially a 2 table tournament.

Planning this breakdown:

200 5 NCV
200 25 NCV
200 100 NCV
60 500 NCV
80 1000 NCV
40 5000 NCV
20 Bounty of some kind

Total: 800 chips

Which comes to the knitty gritty, trying to recreate this on CPC colors and molds:

Here's what I came up with:

WSOP Tribute Set.png

NCV 5: Mandarin Red body with bright white and light blue spots on the 814+ spot pattern

NCV 25: Dayglo Green body with retro green and dayglo saturn spots on the 4V12+ spot pattern

NCV 100: Black body with light blue and imperial blue spots on the 4V12+ spot pattern

NCV 500: Light blue body with maroon and dayglo pink spots on the 4V12+ spot pattern

NCV 1000: Dayglo Saturn body with lavender and dayglo pink spots on the 4V12+ spot pattern

NCV 5000: Dayglo Tiger body with chocolate and gray spots on the 4V12+ spot pattern

Am I close or totally off with the spot patterns and colors? the 4V12+ pattern is the closest I could find to replicate the Paulson spot pattern.

Cheers,

Joe

Good start, but I'd go light blue with Blue spots on the t100 and change the t1k base to canary w/ retro lavender and hot pink spots. And don't forget the t5k. In my opinion t5s are pointless, and t25s are headed that way...

Which spot colors did you use for the 5k? I think we used the same ones but just want to make sure.

I'm only making a red T5 chip so I can use them as nickels in microstakes cash games :D

My Lineup:
25: DG/L. Green 3V12 R. Green, C. Yellow
100: Black 3V12 DG Peacock/Hz. Blue, R. Blue
500: L. Blue 3V12 Maroon, DG Pink
1000: C. Yellow 3V12 Red, DG Peach
5000: DG Tiger/Bz. Orange 3V12 Black, Gray
25K: Dk. Green 3V12 I. Blue, (Arc) Yellow

I'd substitute DG Tiger for the orange on the T5000, otherwise looks pretty bang on.
Yep, these were from the ASM days, looong before DG tiger was available.

I’ve never understood why the 500 and the 1000 have such similar edge spot colors? That’s my only gripe about those chips.
