Longer answer, nobody has heard a date and CPCMike hasn't even hinted when. There is still equipment to install in Washington and tests to be made before anything comes out of the new shop. I wouldn't expect the first tests until after the holidays, but that's just an random guess.

Patience is a virtue I agree, however, I emailed him and he hasn’t gotten back to me, about the simplest thing, it was about sample packs. That makes me question are they for sure going to re open?

They are. They are even finishing orders now. I would bet Mike is absolutely flooded with emails and is extremely busy right now. Its basically moving a small factory to the other side of the country while also completely preping the building you are moving in to.
Another thing to remember is that CPC is still a small business compared to a large corporation like Paulson. Movement takes longer when you have fewer resources. That said, he didnt buy up CPC just to close it up within a year. I'll bet they are fully online some time this year,

Yk what tho, has anyone or yourself purchased from them? How well quality are their chips? What about their inlays? I’ve seen some videos on their website with customizing, but nothing physical

They are moving in to the new location, but they’re not “opening” (taking new orders) until they’ve finished all of the orders that still remain from before they stopped taking orders last year.

All over this site, look at the custom chip section, there’s showcases all around. I believe there’s a gallery section you can look at where people have uploaded their sets too. Don’t forget the chip hall of fame!
From what I gathered from David, it took a couple months to prep clay for new orders. I wonder why the new owner would only start new orders after finishing current orders… it would make sense to open them up a month or two before finishing current orders. But I guess it’s not my business

Now what about most of these being Paulson chips in that link, do you think their able to be remade in CPC?
Also, would yall say that CPC are the closest clay poker chips to Paulson? I’m looking at the customs right now, and even the edges look the same as far as sharpness and quality of clay

A nice set of what? Paulson? I’ve been looking and no one’s got a full set. I’d rather get sum bs ceramic off chip face and wait for CPC to open back up

If you've already got samples of stuff a know what kinds of chips you want, you can just post a Wanted ad with a description of what you'd want. Lots of people are too lazy to post For Sale ads themselves but will see your Wanted ad and it's much lower friction to just answer your ad.
Wanted ad:
- manufacturer - Paulson, ASM/CPC, premium plastics, Tina hybrids, etc.
- cash vs. tourney
- ideal breakdown, with some ranges of variations
- price range
There are some good stuff floating around at very reasonable prices. We're in a down chip market right now. Lots of good inventory.
Here are some tourney sets I'm selling, as an example. These are full STT (single table tourney) sets. BCC are compression molded clay as well, also run by the Endy family (Paulson).

Yeah, mostly looking for a set to hold me over, I want to get a forever set and be done with it you know? Those tangiers ones I’d jump on real quick just to have a set for a year or so, but I’d need more $25s
I also just realized that Tangier’s set sold already. I’m new to this forum thing, I know about chips, but still learning things. I think it would also be easier to navigate on a pc not my phone lol

CPCs are awesome! They have a number of molds and each are cool in their own way. I will say I have a strong preference for the HHR (horse head right) mold as they were heavily used in casinos from the '60s all the way through the '90s and probably some small card rooms or Indian reservations may still use them?
CPCs are the only clay chips generally available to the public at this point for customization. I would say I like them equally to Paulsons, but they are definitely different and the color palette is different. That said, these are real clay and total quality. You could buy some sample stacks or racks of random older chips in various molds just to get a feel and see what you think.

Yeah, those are pretty cool. I would definitely make mine with unweighted colors, my goals for my forever set is for them to pop, I know some may think those kinds of chips are an eye sore, but I think they don’t come around all that often. That’s what would make them unique

Well shit. If you want a Tanigers set just go over to the Broken Arrow group buy and order a set. It takes a couple months but you get exactly what you want. They aren't clay chips but they are pretty good ceramics.

Take your time and explore what info is here. There's a lot and it's probably going to be overwhelming. Tons of lingo and a handful of 'inside references' that will be second nature to you after a little bit of time.
There are a couple threads here that talk about the CPC move and also give some hints on "how the magic happens" at the factory that might help give you some insight to that process.
My suspicion is whatver sample packs that were produced and were 'mail ready' are in a shipping conatiner or simply sold out at this point. Things are in motion and sales requests are at the bottom of the totem-pole compared to actually restarting the business. A little patience might be required here as hardware was moved and the small work staff had other things going on. A CPC 'move update' thread is here:

The previous owner, @David Spragg personally vetted the new owner as part of the purchase process to make sure they have the same morals and philosophy about the stewardship of what is honestly the last manufacturer of custom casino clay chips that's available to the general public.
A set to 'hold you over' aren't CPC's, but it seems you might already realize that. In all honesty, it's going to take CPC something close to a year (my personal estimate) to catch up on the backlog from production in Maine before sets that were placed before the order cutoff (pre-move) last year to start going "out the door".
I might be wrong and those will go out in a few months, but the new shop isn't yet back up to full operations (as far as we know) beyond testing and early Q.C. after the move.
This is not quick and easy mass produciton but every chip is hand made in a small shop with equipemnt that's probably nearing a century old (I have chips in my collection from Vegas casinos from the 1950's that were probably made on the very same equipment, and likely on the same mold-cups).
I have CPC chips (and ASM from the greatest iteration from Jim Blanchard while in Maine and even the so-so iteraton from ASM Vegas) going back nearly two decades now and they are worth every penny spent on them, and every agonizing month, week and day for them to be made to my specifications.
Honest answer, if you want chips to "hold you over" get chips from @justincarothers and the "Tina" group buys there. They are nice chips and serve many purposes. If you want to wait for CPC's ,those are beyond worth waiting for but aren't chips to hold you over. Between the move and the usual produciton time on those, you will have to have patience as those are not, and never have been a quick process.
(I've got SIX sepearte ASM/CPC custom sets amounting to about 15k chips in my 'vault' which all get play and every one has been worth the many months wait from order to delivery. Patience, patience and patience is the rule of thumb with a CPC order, and always has been. The sale and move has made that more of an issue, but it's like moving your home across country and planning on hosting a dinner party two days after arrival. It's just not going to happen).

That would be 2025 or earlier prices (depending on your choice of mold and color spots).
But also take into consideration that prices will likely increase given 1) new year 2026, as per usual of annual price increases, and 2) change in ownership.
Cost for such a manual process without large economies of scale are substantial given increasing labor costs.

Yup. You pick the size, the mold, the colors and patterns, and the labels. You can choose off the rack or submit your own. Any label or a custom label is available every month. Mix and match everything to your heart's desire. Use the chipmatic to help you design.
