CPC custom plaques (1 Viewer)

This gives me pause. We are people getting to make plaques?
Hey, most people get plaques made by Matsui or made by MSK. Even people who are ordering a custom set from CPC get their plaques normally from MSK or Matsui.

Recently people have been getting plaques made by the 'cards mold' manufacturers. They are decent quality but they are VERY inexpensive.

Thanks for the reply. I’m just kind of surprised that nobody has done the ceramics from CPC. The plaques that I do have are ceramic and I really love them so I just wanted to stick with that because I prefer them to the plastic.

I've had these ceramic plaques: https://brpropoker.com/collections/tiki-kings/products/copy-of-tiki-king-plaque

They are fine, but not really what I would think when I think 'plaques'. Cost is nice, but the cards mold plaques are about the same price point and are more of the plastic/acrylic that you are probably imagining when you think 'plaques'.

Yeah I talked to the ABC/BR folks last week. They did the actual printing on the ceramic plaques I have that I got through Old West Poker Supply back in the day. I was hoping to utilize more than one size and they only have the one. Still I suppose I could just use color to differentiate

I haven’t seen any CPC plaques displayed on PCF, but I don’t explore on here as much as I used to so consider that.

Matsui are, hands down, the best. It’s not even close. But you pay for that quality.

MSK are a fine, cheaper alternative, to Matsui - about 1/3 - 1/4 the cost, and the quality is pretty good.

The “Tina”, cards-mold plaques are better feeling and looking than the MSK plaques, and about 1/2 the cost of MSKs, in my opinion.

No clue where the CPCs fall in there.

If I was pursuing plaques for my two CPC sets, I’d go Matsui. If I was pursuing plaques for any of my other, less meaningful sets, I’d go “Tina”.

I hear you exactly. When I think of plaques, I think of those amazing things that matsui makes. When I think of ceramic plaques, I think of big rectangle ceramic chips. Love them or hate them, they’re a different animal.

I’m with @JustDave, I much prefer the plastic/acrylic look and feel. The other variety appear dull to me and the graphics not as sharp.

I have the ceramic plaques for my ACF hybrid chips, which I love, but I don’t love the plaques.
