Hello, By chance, does anyone know the background story to the CPC B-Diamond Mold? I'm guessing the "B" has significance. I thought I remember a previous post mentioning a name, but I can't find it now. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

B-DIAMOND (a/k/a DIAMOND-B) -- "B" and 4 diamonds, repeated four times. This mold seems to have been used mostly in the northwestrn United States. It is now sold by Seattle Restaurant Store Co. (a cookware store!), Seattle WA, which opened in 1933 as Tavern Supply Co./Bar Mart........Luke Rapley sent me a variation of this chip, which came in a box saying Tavern Supply Co., Seattle, Wash. To see it, click here. ...........I have the chip pictured on the left for sale. They are in nice shape except for the worn hot-stamp image. One side has "$1.00." and the reverse says "5050." .... As of October 2015, the mold is still being produced in Maine at Classic Poker Chips company, a company that took over from Atlantic Standard Molding in 2013-2014. All their molds can be seen here. The mold is licensed for use in Nevada as of 2014 onwards.
Hilton -I think the "H" mold was associated with a name... iirc.
Nope...Hilton -
Nope. The A mold was around long before ASM took over the Burt Co. assets. Formally known as the A-Crest mold, although many refer to it as the A-mold or American mold.Is this from the "A" is "ASM"? Did ASM originally produce the Amold?
I'm guessing it just followed the "A" mold.
I was considering a custom cash set on the B-diamond mold, but since I got my Grouse Mountains and a growing collection of CDI98s, I;'ve abandoned that idea.
Do you know which chip manufacturer first used the A-mold?Nope. The A mold was around long before ASM took over the Burt Co. assets. Formally known as the A-Crest mold, although many refer to it as the A-mold or American mold.
Ha ha. Who says I can do anything with them! They're fun to look at. Like a piece of art. When I tried to look up FOE 2809 in Gig Harbor on chipguide, it returned nothing. So I figured I couldn't do anything with just 2 colours, anyway.
It wouldn't be in there. It's like one of a million elks lodge type place.
Ah ok. Good to know.Fraternal Order of Eagles. Actually, chipguide lists lots of FOE houses and their chips. I've got a bunch of FOE stamped SQINCR chip from Bremerton.
