It's not horribly overpriced at $650. $300-400 it's probably a snap buy for the collector who wants one.

Definitely nice. 8V and metallic are cool. Would imagine a tonne of the value is tied to it being from Nevada? With the high denomination boosting it up as well?

And if they ordered more than 100 of these I'd be shocked.

In the $20-30 range, there are available chips, but not many. Dunes Baccarat chips, Caesars Palace (Vegas or Tahoe) $5 chips, Paris $5 baccarat chips, Aladdin $5 baccarat chips, MGM $5 (plastic) baccarat. A lot of midwest casinos had 43mm chips for $1000, $5000, and $25000 denominations, and most of those can be had for that price or less as well. Lake of the Torches has some nice live oversize chips, but they all get hoovered up by other forum members.

Some of the Chinese New Year chips can be awesome? Maybe find one from a year that has a meaning? I have 2 that I use, each one from the years my daughters were born.

Gotcha gotcha, I understand what you're saying. Maybe one day, who knows price might go down in the future and it'll become easier to get

I'll say something for those that might be looking for a Nevada Club $20 as a card capper. Seems like the last one that was on eBay sold for $37ish. I saw one or two at the convention here at South Point between Thursday and today and prices were basically near $90! Pretty crazy stuff.
