This California Card Club was open from 1955-1962. I suspect the chips were manufactured in 55.

Unfortunately I will not be able to keep them and they will be up on eBay tonight. They are probably worth more being sold as sample sets.

Armin's California Guide lists them at the following prices

25c $8-$15 red
$1 $20-40
$5 $30-50
$10 $15-30

I was going to pull the trigger on eBay as they were only like 495 but I thought what would I do with them. Even showed a buddy, he passed as well. I kinda regret it but I am thinking differently these days. Oh well, they are pretty!

You may want to hold onto them. Sets like that don't often come up for $500. If you fill out the racks to make them even 100's, that would be a pretty sweet find.

Such cool chips. I didn't see these on eBay the first time...must adjust my search strategies! Good luck with the sale...but you really should rethink...and keep these!

Oh, I wont be bummed if they don't sell :)

They will not really work for my home game but just having them makes he happy.....
