We often get glimpses of new acquisitions or ongoing projects but it’s rare to find pictures of collections. How they’re stored and organized, how favorite sets are displayed, etc.

I know @Windwalker’s personal thread has some great shots of his cabinets and @Irish did a great looking bar build that doubles as chip storage. What else have y’all figured out for collection storage?

Show off those collections!

My collection is small and my storage is standard but here are a few photos.

Thanks for the first contribution! I’ve seen others on here talking about tool cart options. Why’d you go with that option?

Good question. I saw that it was popular among members here and seemed to check all the box's in terms of what I was looking for.

I wanted some kind of storage where the chips are up off the floor, lockable, organizable, and protected from sun light/dust. I also liked the idea that each drawer could be used for a different set.

So far the tool cabinet has been a perfect storage solution for me. I got a smaller 4 drawer version that doesn't take up much space and fits in my home office nicely. I picked it up at Home Depot for under $100 if I remember correctly.

I built this cabinet a few years ago. 4 X 1000 and 3 X 600 removable chip trays.

I also bought this old card catalog from BU and built some chip holders into it. Capacity about 14000 chips.

Older pic, its chilly down there! Lol
Yes! I’ve seen your posts about these, there’s something so serious here. I showed these to my fiancée and she said “there’s no way someone did that to store poker chips.”

Any system to the box colors?

Wow wow wow. I can’t decide if I’m more in love with the wood work and huge racks of chips in the cabinet or the card catalog system which just feels like such a perfect /collection/ setup. If I could adapt a card catalog in a way that it would feasibly hold humidity that would be an insanely cool humidor setup
