I didn't really know the best place to put this, but I figured this was a good place since it's technically an online poker room haha! I wanted to see if anyone had any experience playing on ClubWPT.com and how they like their subscription services.

I played for the free trial, but then cancelled. I felt like I could have won there but something felt crappy about the place. I think it was because I won one of those gift card tournaments, and they were sold out of all the decent prizes you could get with the giftcard, all of which were ridiculously overpriced. I dunno, it just didn't feel like a site I wanted to spend time on. But I heard about it from some of the old ladies at a live tournament - one of them had actually gotten a check, so cashing seems like a real possibility.

I know I am privileged to live in Canada and have my pick of online sites, but WPT? Really?

And if you are in Florida, there are only a few times a year that you can participate on WPT due to some weird lottery restriction that makes the subscription useless about half the time - completely useless, that is.

I did for a while. I’d usually clear about $50/month on average. It’s hard to make any real money, unless you get lucky and win one if the big tourneys. If you want to try it, look in the terms for the No Purchase Necessary option. You just have to mail a postcard every month.

So this is a sweepstakes model poker site, similar to Global Poker?
It’s $20/month (last time I played it was, anyway), and you can play unlimited tourneys and win actual cash.

Check card club at faded spade.com. You can play public or pay subscription and create own poker room for cash or tournament

I am on it. You can play and win cash on it, and before COVID you could win a seat plus accommodations into their live tournaments. I came in 3rd out of a field of 1245 for a Borgata satellite a few years ago. Won $1,000 + 10k TPs (their currency). Subscription is $240 for the year.

Is it only multi table, or do they do single table tourneys as well?

Mult table, but up to a certain limit (I believe 6.)

They do have some single-table sit-n-go’s, but only for points. All the tournaments for real money are larger multi-table games.

I don't do 6:5 blackjack, and I don't do online poker. Besides, Missouri residents cannot play on the WPT site.

Pic please

I have a Braitling that I got in casino as well.I did not win it in poker tournament. Some dude (distant friend of the friend) approached me when I was playing blackjack. He lost on the roulette and wanted to exchange his watch for some chips . Reluctantly I agreed. He won big, gave me chips and took watch back. An hour later he was back with same dilemma. He took chips and I have got the watch ever since. Reminds me to never play above my bancroll.

I started to sign up the other day but I'm not committing to money. If I cant see the cards I ain't playing for cash....

Was that the agreement before the first trade?

I was relieved that he took it back. I did not know him that well. Even after second time I met his friend at some tournament and told him that I would be glad to give him his watch back. He never contacted me.

I did this for years. Not even much fun, for online poker.

I recently cancelled my diamond subscription ($150/month) and I can’t say I would recommend anyone purchasing the subscription. Multi-table alerts/switching leaves plenty to be desired. I get it, they keep everything simple & basic for low bandwidth users and people with little processing power on their devices, but for a service @ $150/month, I definitely had higher expectations for user interface and a bit more diverse range of tournaments offered @ different times.
