Hi Dan,
I haven't yet started testing everything you've already supported in your project, but here's a summary of what I'm currently using.
Being able to have all these features in one place might make me decide to pay for your application.
1- Game creation and invitations
For Cash Game and Tournament :
I use the excellent tool provided for free here by Al Azouri, invit tracker, to define my upcoming game and launch e-mail invitations from my list of players (the list can be managed by disabling certain players temporarily absent, by grouping players into different sub-lists...).
My players can register directly from the e-mail and choose between different statuses, and can follow the status of all potential players. The waitlist is automatically managed based on threshold (max capacity of players) with the order of registration, so that I can draw on it for priority players in the event of cancellation of players already registered.
I can also use this tool to send reminder, confirmation and cancellation emails...
I can add my club logo to e-mails and the dashboard.
2- During the game
Cash Game :
the seat draw is chosen the old-fashioned way, by drawing a playing card
I use a personal Excel file in which I indicate the position of the players at the table, the buyin, the rebuys and the balance of each player, with a check on the total amount to make sure I'm right. from here the payouts are defined.
Tournament:
I use the free version of blindvalet in web mode on a computer visible to the players.
The game, blinds, players, seat draw, buy-ins, rebuys, eliminations and prize pool are defined here.
Tournament progress is thus classically handled by the excellent blindvalet.
3-consolidation and annual reporting
I have another Excel file which summarizes all cash game and tournament play over the course of a year, giving the annual ranking of each player in the club and determining the player of the year who will receive the trophy (the one with the highest winnings) in cash games and tournaments separately.
I'd also like to be able to follow the bounties, have the club logo and be able to customize a large part of the visual (possible in the paid version, but which I haven't bought because I don't organize enough tournaments for it to be interesting)
4-messaging app
We also use WhatsApp for all discussions at all times, both during and outside games, and we also post photos and videos.
(This part is a nice to have, we should keep WhatsApp in any case)
