Hey guys, trying to clean some older vintage ASM tri-club molds, and curious what the best process would be to do so. I've heard they're a little more delicate than most chips, and they could def use a good scrubbing. I'm still a noobie when it comes to this stuff so any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Do not use TSP, OxiClean, or any product containing an oxidizer (like Dawn with Oxi). Regular Dawn or Palmolive dish soap and a stiff toothbrush or fingernail brush will work fine.

Sounds great, thank you. Would soaking the chips for just a bit be beneficial or detrimental to the chips?

I would not go any longer than 5-10 minutes; shorter is better. Also make sure the water is not too hot, as it will soften the chips.

I have used regular dish soap and toothbrush/rag on old asm blanks with good results. I did not soak chips at all.

try one chip alone first just to make sure....if you follow the above they should be fine but just to be safe, then you must post some pron, its mandatory ;)
