Hi
Just trying to get some clarity about cleaning so I don't destroy these chips, haha.
How do you clean clay chips with water without hurting the sticker? (I'm talking about the ones in the picture) I know heat will warp them, but do people really wash them with with water and soap and soft cloths/ soft toothbushes? How does that not affect the decal? (dont want to destroy those grandmas)
When people talk about ultrasonic machines, is that like the ones with the blue liquid used to clean jewelry?
Thanks for your help,
M

A lot depends on the label used, but in general, yes. soap, water and brush are fine as long you arent leaving them soaking for long periods. I dont think I'd try an US on relabels, but others may have personal experience with that.

Paulsons (if not over-labelled, I guess) can withstand ultrasonic cleaners, at temperatures and durations prescribed by specialist cleaners here.
CPCs cannot. If dirty after thousands of hands, I guess they would need to be cleaned one by one.
Brand-new CPCs out of the box always need a lukewarm shower in a salad spinner, to shake off factory dust (and, after drying, they do need some light oiling).
