Working on an economy custom set for my dad and found this gem today!

Anybody else ever see this before?

It must increase the value of this chip from 10cents to 20cents at least!! I'm retiring

Are you sure the other spots aren't just whiteboard marker?

Yeah, there's lots of pictures around here of error chips, especially BCCs. But that might be the first Claysmith.

Haha actually I guess these are pretty common - I've got 3 chips with semi-similar errors now. I'll post pics in a bit!

Lots of errors = just bad

Very rare error = neat find!

Guess you get what you pay for!

Is this worth complaining about or should I basically accept that they're still worth roughly what I paid?

You get what you pay for, I guess ... Always worth complaining, especially if bought from a reputable vendor who would could make it right.

... but remember, even error chips need love.

I would question the sanity of anybody who was actually bothered by 9 chips out of 600 that are missing one stripe.
