Got lucky and ran into the casino legend Chuck last night at a huge local underground Redding game. It’s not far from Carson City. He loved I had found these chips in this forum. He was very pleased they still held any value. Brag alert: He told me tons of stories about back when Paulson gave hotstamp sets with initials to their repeat clients. Free of course. Oh ya he had one of his “free” chips “In the cage” and actually gave it to me, plus he’s bringing me all the chips he has stashed away at home when he comes back in a few weeks. He mentioned Barney’s! Hash tag blessed. Love these old THCs complete with local history!!! Enjoy!!!

That’s awesome. Score! Chucks big claim to fame he told me was “I’ve opened more casinos then anyone over the many years”. He said he grew up as
a kid in a casino card room full of robbers, cheats, and card tricks. He also said he’s opened several hundred Indian casinos and gotten them registered with the feds over the years. All I kept thinking was get me a chance to order. Lol We texted about that again today. Baby steps.

Hope this isn’t the same Chuck as the other thread  :ROFLMAO:

Not your bad. Great knowledge takes time and thought. I Appreciate you!
C&J is all in the sound and weight
When you shuffle a barrel of leaded LCV and a barrel of C&J you will know the difference in weight and sound immediately
Its easy to remember after that. C&J also very shiny surface the whole chip and more slippy feel on the stuff I have.
