My wife's sense of humor...

The kids bring this gift out from under the tree and announce that daddy bought mommy another gift (mind you I had no idea what they were talking about).

Wife opens the gift and acts surprised... I think she intends for this to be her uniform during the MTTD.

OH, not only the MTTD.. Mrs. Honda reminds me that I'll be going to Vegas in Two weeks for 4 days of poker... That shirt is gonna get pretty ripe if she wears it the entire time.

I do ALL the cooking and food prep in my house. Neither my current woman, nor my ex-wife are (were) barely even ALLOWED in my kitchen(s). So I find the whole "make me a sandwich" thing humorous. I know it's (mostly) just a joke, but shouldn't it be refined a bit? If you need a woman to make you something as simple as a sandwich, aren't YOU doing something wrong? As opposed to her, by not putting your meat between two slices of bread? (heh)

Maybe I'm just being sensitive... (Fully possible. My mother is in my thoughts. She was single, raising three kids. At one point, she was working such long hours over both her jobs that I only saw her around four am each day, when she woke me to give me bus tokens and a little bit of money to distribute to my siblings for the day. She would get home long after the three of us went to sleep. {I was responsible for getting my younger brother and older sister dinner.} I only saw her again when she repeated this ritual the next day. This went on from the summer before I entered fifth grade, and ended during my sixth grade year. Over a calendar year. ) She was also attending night school during this time. Studying computers. This was in the late 80's. Can you imagine what that was like for a woman? Let alone a BLACK woman? (The computer industry is hard NOW for women, almost twenty years later!) I can't imagine she would have accepted ANY man demanding that she get herself into the kitchen, where she "belonged":..

Absolutely not imo, nothing wrong with it at all and just because I slow clapped BG's needle deosn't mean I don't agree with you in principle, BG just made me chuckle. Yo have nothing to be ashamed about for your opinion, if anybody should be ashamed it's people who are still making that old/bad joke in the year (almost) 2016.

Maybe, maybe not... But keep in mind that my actual present to my wife was a brand new "x-treme" martial arts gi (since she's worn through all her others)... Wear padded clothing when you first arrive, maybe?

I've been to their house a few times. I figure I have a 51% chance in a battle with Mrs. Honda, only because the Infantry taught me to fight to win, not fight fair.
She'd kick my ass and face in a fair fight.
If anything, I want her on my side in a bar fight!
She's a good woman that I don't want to piss off.
