Gonzo as in all gone.
Previous discussions on PCF have recommended "16-stripe" chips as an ultra-cheap but still pretty nice unslugged plastic chip. See, for example, here. The last place to get these at retail seemed to be chipsandgames.com, where they were on clearance for four cents per chip! But recently chipsandgames reworked their website (it needed reworking!) and as of now they're no longer listing those chips for sale, or any clearance chips at all it seems.
They also were the only place I could find the old China clay Spirit mold chips for sale, also on clearance for pennies per chip. Looks like they're all out of those, too.
It's possible they still have some of these two chips tucked away in some corner of their warehouse; if you need them, give them a call and ask about them. The fine gentleman I spoke to there a couple of months ago was very helpful and friendly. But they were already almost out of everything back then, so I wouldn't hold my breath.
