Christmas came early this year when I saw the package from CPC earlier today! Finally got a few of these cleaned and took some photos! Special thanks to everyone online and in-person who helped with the design and with general chip knowledge. I can definitely say that I am hooked on creating customs and plan to order a Sun-fly cash set next. Ok, enough words, now for what you guys really wanted to see...

These are pretty awesome. I'm a fan of the 5k.

The color selection on all the chips are excellent imo. OP doesn't need me telling him that however. They know. :)

Nice work! Your set looks fantastic.

Thank you for sharing shots of them.

Looks nice. What made you go with the 3 color quarter pie chips for the entire set? Something you wanted to do? or did you get inspiration from somewhere else?

How long did it take you to come up with the color patterns for each chip? and for the set? I have my own quarter pie set (only two color chips), and it took me forever to come up with the color pattern lol.

Looks great man. Congrats and nice work. Those tri-color quarter-pies are not easy to pull off across a whole set but these look sweet.

Did you design it yourself? Those are cool!
Yes I did the design myself. Thanks for the kind words.

The 3 color quarter pie idea was something I ultimately decided to do without seeing it anywhere else. It started with a search for which chip edgespots I liked most. I was chatting with @kmccormick100 back in January of this year and he showed me a bunch of popular casino and custom chips with different edges, and I realized then that I preferred bigger edgespots. At first I designed these chips with 2 of the 5 having quarter pies, but I couldn't figure out any progression or reason for some having and others not having particular edges.

Once I decided to go full quarter pie set, it was REALLY difficult to settle on 3 colors for each chip that did not somehow clash with another chip in the set. I think it took me about 2 months to finally dial in the final combinations, and that was after getting advice from multiple people, getting renders done by @Ray-Col... etc... The 5K chip and 500 chip were swapped in my final design, but @kmccormick100 and others correctly made me change it so that it wasn't confusing to seasoned tournament players. Like I said, I followed a lot of good advice, and I ignored a lot of good advice as well :)

I'm a huge fan of the quarter pie edge spots. So much so, that I also created a quarter pie only set. I experimented with three colors. I couldn't come up with a combination that I liked. I'm really happy with the two color QP Bourbon chips. If your curious, you can find them here https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/bourbon-basement-poker.19444/
Thanks for sharing. 2 colors looks just as nice as 3 colors, and smoother. I love how your inlay works with the chip to add a unifying color. Your $100 chip is my favorite of the set. So cool! Where'd you get your table made?

Wow, after all those different versions the finals came out looking great. The one thing I was worried about "dirty stacks" doesn't seem to be a problem. Color matching came out really nice & colorful, great job!

Love the T5k! What are the colors? DG Peach, DG Orange and BW?

You went with random label orientation?
Correct on the colors! Correct on random. I couldn't decide which orientation I liked most and decided random makes each chip even more interesting.

You and me both... I spent countless late nights obsessing over alike colors. Now that the chips are in hand, I've played with dirty stacks and none of the chips are hard to distinguish. The closest chips are the 100 and 500 but even those are pretty easy to tell apart.

100's and 1000's are my favorite. grats!
So It's great to see that so many different people have different favorites. My kids love the 25's. My girlfriend loves the 100's by far. Me, I'm torn between the 5K and 1K, but I must admit that the 25's and 500's turned out way better in person than they looked on the computer screen :)

Those are awesome man. I really like the 1k and the 100. I dig the red spot on that hundo.

So I think I can settle on an order of my favorite (though it changes every hour it seems)
5K=500>1K>25=100

It’s hard to tell. Sometimes the 1K is my top choice, but the 5K and 500 are so unique and pretty.

My gf is trying to give each chip denom a name, starting with the 1K as “funfetti”....

I’ll need to check to see how many samples I can spare from the set. Just finished cleaning them all last night and going to re-count and send out the samples to all of the original-interest list.

First batch of samples sent yesterday! I have a couple more available for those interested. First come-first serve.
