In case it’s of interest to anyone, this might be news:

We’re on a Carnival cruise ship this week. The only Web site I’ve found so far that is banned from access via the on-board satellite Internet service is chipguide.com.

PCF and CT — and of course eBay — are fine. Go figure...

Try themogh. I type chipguide at work and I get blocked, but themogh works just fine.

I can get here from one of my machines at work, but not CPC or the design tool. I haven't even tried on the other machine, and most likely won't. (its complicated).

Our web filter at the office blocks PCF. Luckily being a network admin has some advantages.

All GAMBLING sites are blocked and that is what PCF comes under for some reason.

But I can get to the chip builder on CPC

It came in very handy when I was working on my tournament set.

Internet in my experience on cruises is about as slow as waiting for the mailman to deliver a custom chip order and just as expensive.

Sign off and go back to the lido deck!
