I know there’s a ton of history behind a bunch of rare or maybe not even rare sets. I would love to hear some stories of the history behind some sets or finds in unique ways. I know @Okku has a whole YouTube channel dedicated to this which I highly recommend people check out, but just wondering what else is around and if people want to story tell / write an abbreviated story hahah.

Personally, I love the history and stories behind the underground clubs and poker rooms, which were usually run by the mob and paid off police and politicians, but still ran top-notch establishments with casino-level tables and chips.

This is probably more interesting for the Australians, an article on Sydney's illegal casino history.

It means nothing to most but I love the stories behind my chips and the other guys from our local group. We have had a pretty good time together over the years and the pictures bring back some cool memories. That’s poker for me pretty much anyway. Few randos from my phone.
