Greetings. Hoping I can rely on your experience here. Starting a poker night up with various groups of friends etc. Most if not all are beginners so starting out we will just be playing for fun. My plan is to have a $5 rebuy that I’ll put towards supplies, and also so that people don’t just go all in and then rebuy in since it’s free. Does that sound reasonable?
Anyways, not really the question at hand. I’d like to use chips starting with either $500 or $1000. How many chips and what denominations do I need to have up to a 10 player tournament? For a 300 chip set I was thinking maybe like 100x $1,000, 150x $5,000, 50x $10,000.
