I agree. The Majestics and Royals, and even the Dunes are so slippery they are almost unbuyable. I have older Pharaohs, Dunes (v1), and some samples of Desert Palms CC and they are completely different. They are not slippery at all and feel much more like Paulsons than these newer CC. However, they are more brittle and chip easily. For a budget chip, I think these are my favorite, so long as you can get over the slipperiness.
Not at all. It is pretty fine grit to begin with, plus I only did about 7-8 light circular swipes per side.Did they send paper leave any marks on the chips? Looking to get some majestics but noticed how slippery they are when you stack them
Do you have to strategically not sand near or over the labels or can you just have a flat piece of sandpaper locked down and rub the entire chip over it for the desired results?7000 grit wet-sanding works wonders on plastic chips with absolutely zero visible effects.
I just clamp a piece of sandpaper on a clipboard and rub back and forth. You'd have to sand for a long time to get down to the label.Do you have to strategically not sand near or over the labels or can you just have a flat piece of sandpaper locked down and rub the entire chip over it for the desired results?
