For a budget chip, I think these are my favorite, so long as you can get over the slipperiness. They relabel well (as seen in vid) but the stock labels are really nice as well.

In their class, there aren’t many other chips with that vivid of colors or such a nice edge spot. Maybe the slugged claysmiths, but those don’t feel anything like casino chips.

I agree. The Majestics and Royals, and even the Dunes are so slippery they are almost unbuyable. I have older Pharaohs, Dunes (v1), and some samples of Desert Palms CC and they are completely different. They are not slippery at all and feel much more like Paulsons than these newer CC. However, they are more brittle and chip easily.

I took the advice from another thread and sanded my small sample of Majestics. I lightly sanded with 800 grit and also tried 400 grit, just a few seconds on each side. I then washed and dried them. The difference was huge. They come close to the older CC for non-slipperiness. I would recommend doing this and then the Majestics become great chips for a budget.

Did they send paper leave any marks on the chips? Looking to get some majestics but noticed how slippery they are when you stack them

Not at all. It is pretty fine grit to begin with, plus I only did about 7-8 light circular swipes per side.

I just checked and it was 400 grit that I used. Just get some wet/dry at automotive store.

7000 grit wet-sanding works wonders on plastic chips with absolutely zero visible effects.

It’s a pretty cool concept for the video series; I may even watch.
Majestic are certainly better than dice chips.
Wood racetrack table - just say no.
Yeah better than dice chips , from a playing perspective. However security wise , just as bad IMO.

Do you have to strategically not sand near or over the labels or can you just have a flat piece of sandpaper locked down and rub the entire chip over it for the desired results?
