Hello fellow Canadians looking for storage solutions. Princess Auto had this on sale for $29.99. I picked it up and it works great for 600 to 900 chips. Sale on until the 16th.

Must have been a in store thing. I’ve torn their website apart and found no such case for that price. Too bad. I would be perfect. The closest princess auto is 2 plus hours drive.

Could have put one on the bus collect back in the day haha! I was going to go to P Auto tomorrow but alas I’m now in isolation.
Even Canada post might not be too bad but your right. Thank goodness they got rid of local and national bus services. When you consider a nanuk 920 is almost $200 on Amazon and shipping an Apache case I’m sure is prohibitive. Get better ;)

I have one of these exact princess auto cases and also the same size Pelican. If I were to take it on an airplane or across a 10,000km road trek i'd take the Pelican. The Pelican has metal reinforcements on the locking loops, the clasps are tight and make a waterproof seal. However, every time I go to the range I go for the princess auto case instead. It is ever so slightly lighter, the clasps are easier to open/close so easier on my hands and the handle is more comfortable plus it has the exact same storage capability. I'll have to find an excuse to get out tomorrow to pick up another

I bought one for the range as well. I agree with you in all the points you made vs Pelican. Can't beat 30 bucks though.

600+ chip case on sale now til Apr 23 at Princess Auto for $20, includes foam (which I won't be using at all). Works really well with the uline starting stack tubes. The configuration I will be using it is: 20 uline tubes of 27 chips +1 rack + 2 decks of cards = 640 chips. The middle pic below is 6 racks, and the lid closes snug with just top and bottom foam used.
