Hey all!

My Kiwanis division is doing a charity fundraiser for the Florida Diabetes Camp. We normally do a bowl-a-thon this time of year, but since that's not an option we're trying something new.

If you're interested in participating, all the info can be found here: https://superbowlsquares.org/diabetescamp.

If you have any questions about Kiwanis or the Florida Diabetes Camp, feel free to post here or send me a PM.

Don't throw away your money on $GME! Spend it on something that has a better chance of turning a profit and will help kids in need even if you don't!

Grab a couple Super Bowl squares from https://superbowlsquares.org/diabetescamp and help support the Florida Diabetes Camp!

Squares are still available at https://superbowlsquares.org/diabetescamp. Remember that Florida Diabetes Camp receives 50% of all proceeds!

Florida Diabetes Camp provides weekend and week-long summer camps for children with Type 1 diabetes. In addition to the usual recreational activities associated with camping, scheduled diabetes education sessions are conducted by pediatric endocrinologists and diabetes educators at all programs. Caring individuals provide motivation and support for the children to learn self-care, independence in diabetes management and good self-esteem.

Your donations help subsidize the cost of attending for all campers, and also provide additional need-based financial aid for campers from low income families.

Turns out my share was $600 - $200 for the 3rd quarter, $400 for the final score.

So what could I do? I had them keep an extra $100 for the camp!

When the Zombies win, kids win.

Hey all!

Last minute, my club decided to run a charity squares pool for the last three games of the March Madness tourney. It works just like a Super Bowl pool, except the scores of the last three games (Final Four and Championship) are used to award three prizes.

Squares are $10 each, and we've got a few more to fill by tomorrow. Follow the link if you're interested, and thanks in advance!

Last chance to squeak in if you want - I'm closing the grid within the next 30 minutes or so.

Scratch that - I just found out that the first game starts at 5:14pm today, so I'm keeping the grid open until 5:00pm (or until it fills, whichever comes first).

Filled it with 17 minutes to spare! Thanks to everyone who participated, and good luck!

I'll be filling in the numbers in just a few minutes.

Lol, I'm such an idiot.

When I set this up, I accidentally set the first two games incorrectly. It's fixed now, and really doesn't make a difference since, unlike football squares, any numbers are equally good.

Still, I'm annoyed. Big angry emoji for myself.

Yeah, I don't watch basketball, so this is gonna be interesting. I do football all the time.

Did we win anything?
You won the feeling that comes when you donate to a good cause. I've also got that feeling, combined with the "DAMMIT" feeling brought on by having the 6-0 square when 0-6 won the final game.
